These are just as good as the Kone elevators at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis. They have 20 story glass elevators. I have ridden those once and they are amazing

At the Hyatt in downtown Phoenix they have a similar setup with external elevators. I like to stand at the bottom and watch the giant counter weight and cable bundles go up and down

Hey Andrew since ur an elevator expert I have question. If you are in a hydraulic elevator and the capacity is 4,000 pounds, what would happen if about 4,100 pounds was loaded onto the elevator? Would they elevator move very slowly, or would it even be able to move at all?? Thanks. Please reply

Jimboo0825 I am not Dieselducy, but the elevator would travel all the way down to the bottom level no matter what button was pushed. Sorry about the late reply. :)
