@@user-hk2nv8su3x i'd say it still is made for rock tho he did not initially intend that. The rasp is pretty natural and not something he just "added" otherwise it would damage his throat. But I get what you mean, it's just something he naturally always had but never utilized until he was in a rock band because he used to prefer singing ballads. His range is so downplayed now tho because the raspness masks it. Still his voice is my favorite. 🥰

i love when jae's guitar comes in during the chorus, bridge and especially the outro - his guitar work is the cherry on top of day6 music. they are all are indispensable and amazing, even to me as someone with limited knowledge of music
day6 themselves have stated that they don't want to be considered idols, but rather artists. usually, going on shows is for idols to promote their music. this is also why you don't see the boys on variety shows, etc. they want to stray away from the typical idol image and establish themselves as musicians.
this song started getting them more acknowledgement from the industry, especially after their appearance on sketchbook. i'm guessing they promoted on shows this time around to expose their music to the mainstream, but it backfires and the boys get screwed over. i personally don't like them on music shows because they never perform "live." it's obvious the boys are playing their instruments, but the mr is too fucking loud and they could basically just be an idol group dancing up there, ya know? my wish is that they discontinue going on music shows if their live playing isn't showcased. it doesn't show their talent at all if they're just going to play the mr version too loud.
blarrgh can you please do more of day6's live performances, please? 🙏🏻😇 and I personally hope they stop going on music shows too because it doesn't showcase their talent and passion for music but i support them fully in whatever things they do.. 💪🏻
