I agree that these dinos are underrated and it will be nice to see some of these dinos given some love in the TLC patches. I do however have to make a correct that the chalico's boulder throw doesn't currently damage stone. On top of that I would like to say that the Pachyrhino has much better uses in PVP than to kite wild dinos. It's purple pheromone can actually take away all the stamina from enemy players on foot or from enemy dinos smaller than a rex. The orange pheromone on top of aggroing wild dinos will actually give enemy players a blinding effect.
Honestly the pelagornis is the most underrated flyer besides maybe the moth from SE. It can gather polymer better than almost any creature it has a 36% boost to movement speed when tamed and is about as fast as the argh but has better stamina and stamina usage it can also land on water to help avoid a fight all together. Its also really good for scouting bases. Its a great fish catcher as well because it does 10× damage to coel salmon and piranha. It also attracts sea creatures to the surface when landed on the water. This seems like a bad thing but it actually helps you start out a sea creature army. I've tamed a bunch of ichthys this way. Its not good for PvP by far. By far but its a good travel mount and good for starting your sea base. As well as being a good resource dino.
Kendall I was actually going to include the moth on this list, and I think the pelagornis is definetly underrated could probably of swapped it out with the dodo tbh with you, Thankyou for the comment 😁
Pelagornis is only useful at max level and i takes just trhee shots ( i sted that) with a rifle to kill him. Defenitly not for pvp usage but actually preety good at harvesting polymer
Lowest Stamina, speed, health, and damage when compared to any flier. The only use is that it becomes a raft when hitting the water, rather than tossing you off. The polymer efficiency is ridiculous, however I always tag an argy along anyways to bear the weight. And if I’m doing that, I might as well just carry a moschop which is close in gathering efficiency. Apparently if you are flying, I’ve noticed you get over double the polymer than when walking, I don’t know if this was intended or just a coincidence after the 20 penguins I farmed.
Maximus the Cockatiel I would recommend building thatch foundations until you get enough lvl to get wood then stone it isn't hard to do and don't build on the beach

But they were trying to “enslave” my friend So I ran over doing the friendly lower hands emote. They typed in chat to “get on the rhinos” and they said they are taking us to the green obelisk to pvp, but then they took us to their new base on an island in the bottom right of the map. We allied and they made the rhinos breed and let us have the baby. They gave us loot and I tamed a new pteranodon The rhino grew up and we named him charcoal. Because the last thing we did was get charcoal for dyes before we got wiped Yes this was recently If you want me to finish it gimme likes
Kaprosuchus is also a underrated dino cause you can jump and they are pretty fast they can swim pretty fast and they are able to hold small dinos so easy to transport them
I know this Probably sounds weird but the dodos been in the game for a long time we just recently been able to pick it up and now since the add-on to aberration with the Bulldogs we should be able to wear the dodo on are shoulder that would be awesome I would so represent a mutated dodo
The procoptodon takes little to no fall damage now and has a charge jump like the crab it’s amazing new though I was going to use it but now I take it everywhere. love the videos keep it up
Someone that appreciates allosaurus! On my rag single player world I have 2 level like 500/600 allo’s (higher max Dino level mod) mating for multiple hours and I got about 8 egg, hatched then, and now I’m unbeatable!
Also, allos are really really good to have when you have a mate boosted pair of two if you want to level up quick. That's because the gnash ability actually allows you to kill a titanosaur really easily, and titanosaurs give a literally crapton of exp when you kill them. Even if you want to level up other Dino's quick, you can just let the titans get to low health by the allosaurus and let the Dino you want to level up get the kill.
Chalicotherium is tied for my #1 dino (along with the trike... when the trike isn't bugged, and it can attack). The basilosaurus is my favorite water critter.
Great video! I can confirm, dodos wreck. I had a lvl 50 dodo murder a lvl 17 troodon in a pack of three before dying. It was great and sad because I was taming the troodons. I think you overlooked dilos. IMO, they're the best starters. Drop in, grab a couple of dilos, dominate the island. Lol but on a more serious note, I have a lvl 47 dilo named Rodrick. Hecker destroyed the troodon pack with hardly a scratch. My entire dodo flock is basically invincible because of him and his buddies. :,) Rodrick got promoted from sheep dog to guard dog! Now, he protects the whole base instead of just the dodos. I would definitely recommend dilo being either your first or second tame. They make great guard dogs for you and a dodo flock.
My only dilo saved me by killing a raptor that infiltrated my base, my dilo was level 2, the raptor; level 16. I named that dilo protection before it killed the raptor. I then tamed a raptor and named it raphael and then it died. He was swarmed by mega piranhas and kapros in the swamp on my way back from redwood (the forest).
Tbh Dilos are underrated :)) sorry to hear about your raptor :(( buuut I use a pack of dilos to slow down an animal I wanna tame with its spit attack :)
Kaprosuchus is the most underrated creature imo. A lot of people look down on the kapro for being a "glass cannon" when it can do so much. 1)It is relatively easy to tame and one can get it early in the game if you can find a good vantage point to avoid their snatch attack. 2)They have quite decent speed both on land and water. 3)Their lunge attack can work well as a quick getaway. 4)You can set the kapro to passive and grab small dinos(like a raptor) and you can either try to shoot from the kapro or get off and the kapro will hold the dino for easy taming. 5)You can use the kapro to snatch players off their mounts in pvp.
I think one of the most overlooked dino is the Moschops because at the beginning it is amazing for harvesting resources it doesnt require a saddle and there so easy to tame
Diplocaulus is also really good. 1. He is the only one who is capable of taking you on deep diving trips underwater for a long time, before you have access to scuba gear or lazarus chowder, thanks to his oxygen ability. As long as you are riding him or E click him you get his oxygen, while he doesn't need any oxygen to breathe underwater. 2. He is very small compared to other water mounts and can even fit through a normal doorway. 3. When you are riding him, he is very fast and when sprint-swimming, you can outrun any wild dino in the water. 4. He is amphibious, so he can walk around on land too, but you can only ride him in the water. 5. He can be picked up by a pteranodon, making it easy to pick them up and drop them into a taming cage. 6. Another thing, he can always kill a trilobite in 1 - 2 hits, making it really easy to get chitin, oil, silica pearls and even black pearls from them.
Jay1416 Actually the frog is not underrated my frog for example is fast on land and water, does a lot of damage to enemies and is good for getting paste.
What about the gorillas (gigantopithecus) he litterally killed 3 spines and doesn’t need a saddle, but when u team him up with a couple of dimprphadons.... that will litterally b awesome. My poor gorilla died today was by a Rex, two sacros, leeches, titanaboas and tonnes more swamp stuff. I’m breeding tonn of dimorphs and otters bc they cute
Paraceratherium (my bad if I misspelled that) often I find people don’t use these guys and instead jump strait to the bronto if they are planning on making a mobile base. I find that the paracera is a little more mobile that the bronto, and I think it makes for a good early mobile base, or a good mobile storage given that you have protector Dinos with you.
U forgot malasciasourus or I think it’s name is that and it is one of the best starter dinos I can get as it harvests berries so fast and doesn’t require a saddle
I've always trapped the allows in a small trap that has stone walls, stone foundation, Dino gate and either wooden or metal and ramps. It makes taming more than one of them so much easier to do the only downside is you have to lure them into the trap which is risky but a risk well worth dying for especially if you set up a bed near by to respawn in and the trap can work with raptors and wolves and other Dino's you can get to agro
I have a sarco on ark mobile and lemme tell you, in my opinion, its a great hunting Dino, can go toe to toe against a Rex if used right (and leveled right), it can explore the seas greatly and is a really good exploring Dino. The only downside it’s that it’s slow on terrain, but if you are being attacked and almost getting killed, you can just go to the water, it’s reeeeeaaaaally fast underwater! I Highly recommend it
Moschops is underrated af. If you can get the luck to tame one at the very beggining of the game (if he asks for berries or something easy), the early game is over, his harvesting is incredible, he is strong and can kill a lot creatures, he is kinda tanky and will survive pretty well. He is not that string in mid or late game, but if you manage to get one at the beginning, it’s op

They typed in chat to “get on the rhinos” and they said they are taking us to the green obelisk to pvp, but then they took us to their new base on an island in the bottom right of the map. We allied and they made the rhinos breed and let us have the baby. They gave us loot and I tamed a new pteranodon
The rhino grew up and we named him charcoal. Because the last thing we did was get charcoal for dyes before we got wiped
Yes this was recently
If you want me to finish it gimme likes
Kaprosuchus is also a underrated dino cause you can jump and they are pretty fast they can swim pretty fast and they are able to hold small dinos so easy to transport them
傷齒龍147 Troodon147 its ok not fast but ok
Captain Burrito CatTM kapros are only good vs noobs get a persom who knows what they are doing and you and the kapro will die
@@khalilcarney4156 how about you go learn your grammar first sweetie.
@@onewiththerats how about you figure out an acual insult and not go to grammar when there is no real argument you can say
@@khalilcarney4156 Damn you really need to go to school and learn some shit.
Fun fact ark mobile has quests that you can do for rewards and there is an quest to kill 250 dods and make them extinct
Don't worry the overseer will take care of it
Whenever my friend Covull and I take allos we just knock out the whole pack and tame all three
I just go from pack to pack taming the alpha ones
Personally I prefer the baryonyx than a sarco, but good video.

Do you have am own server?
And do you have one for PS4
Star stable riders he does and he's made a video on it
last gen richtofen oh im not a VERY VERY BIG fan so I don’t know all the vids
Im ps4
Great video cj keep up the good work
I know this Probably sounds weird but the dodos been in the game for a long time we just recently been able to pick it up and now since the add-on to aberration with the Bulldogs we should be able to wear the dodo on are shoulder that would be awesome I would so represent a mutated dodo
The procoptodon takes little to no fall damage now and has a charge jump like the crab it’s amazing new though I was going to use it but now I take it everywhere. love the videos keep it up
Best ark youtuber i think
Nooblets is the best

Someone that appreciates allosaurus! On my rag single player world I have 2 level like 500/600 allo’s (higher max Dino level mod) mating for multiple hours and I got about 8 egg, hatched then, and now I’m unbeatable!
My rexes had triplets and twins. Since I'm on single player, they were only, like, 17 and 14 when born.
For rhino does the speed matter for melee
Killer Whale18 when they charge damage Gore up but pumping movespeed doesent
Yea
Figgly no
Also, allos are really really good to have when you have a mate boosted pair of two if you want to level up quick.
If he makes another one of these lists of the most underrated he should definitely include megaloceros
Chalicotherium is tied for my #1 dino (along with the trike... when the trike isn't bugged, and it can attack). The basilosaurus is my favorite water critter.
My favorite land dinos are the Yutyrannus and procptodon while my favorite water one is the diplocaulus
16:56 his geting a.... what did you say there limeline or something?
Idk what you Said... can you post what you Said? It sounded like limeline
Star stable riders Limelight - another word for getting attention.
Sam Walker oh haha im just very bad at english ty
lime light is kinda like saying the spotlight or attention
I love taming loads of dilos :)
I actually breed dodos and I have a building dedicated just to dodos, they provide a lot of food and they make good alarms
Parasauruses are way better alarms
Awesome vid man
I Like Your Videos They Are Just Awesome 👍
I think one of the most overlooked dino is the Moschops because at the beginning it is amazing for harvesting resources it doesnt require a saddle and there so easy to tame
Aren’t chickens already living?
They died out in 1987
Diplocaulus is also really good.
The most underated is the frog its as good if not better than the procoptodon on land and plus you can swim whit it its so good and versatile
Jay1416
Actually the frog is not underrated my frog for example is fast on land and water, does a lot of damage to enemies and is good for getting paste.
Jay1416
I have seen a good number of people using their frogs so it isn't underrated.
Omg you punching the dodo startled me lol
I love my calico, hes a literal beast and can stand toe to toe with large carnivores
Yesss I was hoping you would say the dire bear and when you did I knew I found the best gaming channel
The most underrated Things in ark are.
Trees
Thx for including the sarco their some of my fav dinos and the calicotherium
I love the sarcosuchus
THANK YOU SOO MUCH. I did'nt know that basic kibble was a pteranodon's preffered kibble
Sarcos are good tbh. My level 40 sarco just killed a level 30 Therezino. I mean my person did pass out from it buuut hey my Sarco killed it, literally
Great vid cj keep up the good work. Would love to se a new ark series back on the island😊
.
My wooly rhino does 7k damage xd
And it’s like level 50 lmao
Melee damage?
Boosted server lol
Perfect music timing with the Procoptodon dying.. x'D
I believe you said spotlight 3 times if you include limelight that's 5 times
Joshua Zulu 8 agree
Did the phiomia just attack the Carno
What about diplocaulus pelagornis ichtiyornis and hesperornis
Pelagornis is good if you travel over water
What about the gorillas (gigantopithecus) he litterally killed 3 spines and doesn’t need a saddle, but when u team him up with a couple of dimprphadons.... that will litterally b awesome. My poor gorilla died today was by a Rex, two sacros, leeches, titanaboas and tonnes more swamp stuff. I’m breeding tonn of dimorphs and otters bc they cute

Sarco Without TLC-Whoever Tame These Craps?
Sarco With TLC-Ahem..What you were saying?
I mostly use it in abberation for pearl harvesting so annoying piranhas stay away.
I don't like you at all it is useful
Sub To PewDiePie
Sacro is actually good I know this because I have a good strong fast high level Sacro.
Sub To PewDiePie
I have seen people use their Sacros and they are really good tames once people have leveled them up with the right skills.
DeltaBlaze8201 Gaming noone builds mobile bases in ark enless it is a boat base
Do-do alarm system is best alarm system
Love the vids shared this with friends
If you dismount just before you hit the ground, you don't take fall damage.
Tobias Mills have they patched this?
U forgot malasciasourus or I think it’s name is that and it is one of the best starter dinos I can get as it harvests berries so fast and doesn’t require a saddle
I love Calichos
I've always trapped the allows in a small trap that has stone walls, stone foundation, Dino gate and either wooden or metal and ramps.
It makes taming more than one of them so much easier to do the only downside is you have to lure them into the trap which is risky but a risk well worth dying for especially if you set up a bed near by to respawn in and the trap can work with raptors and wolves and other Dino's you can get to agro
The procoptodon takes fall damage, yeah when you purposely throw them off s cliff
I Highly recommend it
7:17 I thought it was the Griffin
thewhitewolf they arent underrated
Moschops is underrated af. If you can get the luck to tame one at the very beggining of the game (if he asks for berries or something easy), the early game is over, his harvesting is incredible, he is strong and can kill a lot creatures, he is kinda tanky and will survive pretty well.
He is not that string in mid or late game, but if you manage to get one at the beginning, it’s op
Rhino is op, he deal more 2k when he fast run
I agree on everything on this list good vid
Caleb Sharp well if you do you are a BEACH BOB
You said the chali's name wrong, so iriitating
