I'm taking a developmental biology class and have only taken very basic cell/molecular biology before this (my area of interest is more whole-organism focused). You are saving my ass right now! Bless you sir!

Thanks for your videos, they are really helpful. Despite English isn't my mother tongue your explanation is much more clear than I could find in Russian. I hope you won't quit this project.

You explained something so well in 11 minutes, when my professor couldn't explain it in 3 lectures.

Actin and myosin don’t contract, I d like to know how to say what causes contractions and what doesn’t ?
What causes calcium ions to not attach? Or why is there issues where muscles stay contracted?

Sir,are morphogenes are any factor or any cell that take part in morphogenesis.accordind to your lecture morphogenes are a single molecule .then my question is how these molecules form in zygote .

Thank you so so much! Just one question: during gastrulation, to form the 2 laters, how do the morphogens remove some of the adhesion molecules from some of the cells and not the others to form the 2 layers? Weren't all these cells exactly the same before gastrulation so they should have the same number of adhesion molecules and therefore, the same amount of these adhesion molecules would have been removed from all these cells? So how does it form 2 layers if all these cells initially had the same number of adhesion molecules? Thank you again. :)

Man thank you for the bombardment of info,I really like it it really helps, but the only little problem is that you are a bit fast when you explain;maybe little poses would do the job.and also I like the intonations and when you stress important words YEAAHHHH :D

I suggest you actually pause the video if you are confused about anything he is saying. His pace is fine.
