I don't feel that your daughter could have been blessed with better parents. I am a black mother of 2 adult daughters and I know what it's like to raise girls. I was opposed to ppl raising children of a different race b4 I began watching your videos. I feel the love you two have and it fills my heart that you love her so much. Thank you for loving her and proving to the world color doesn't matter!

I stumbled across one of your shorts. It was a short of Tyanna with her step and suitcase traveling. Her sheer joy made me click on your channel. As I watched some of your videos I noticed you guys are such kind people. I think the amount of love and safety you guys provide for Tyanna is heartwarming. Listening to your adoption q&a videos and how you guys respond to very personal and at times confrontating questions is inspirering. It is very clear to me that you guys are navigating parenting the best that you guys can. You guys make a conscious effort to prioritize Tyanna's needs and make decisions that are in her best interest. You guys are awesome!

Hi dear parents. I think you are correct in telling people this is how "we" raise our child, "you" raise yours in your own way. One hope is that you will get her involved in some kind of music -- maybe piano, or other musical instrument, or even dancing -- so I just want to say, now is the time to do so (being the music teacher that I am -- smiles). Music is not just an arbitrary activity -- it can help with math skills, discipline, concentration, self-control, focus and a myriad of benefits including possible scholarships, etc... Sooooo, I hope one day I'll look in on you guys and I'll see Tyannna sitting patiently learning an instrument. P.S. it is recommended by the "experts" to start with the piano -- here again not just for arbitrary reasons.

At the end of the day, as a parent you do the best you can with the resources and information you have. Culture plays a big part too. Once you understand that you become a lot less judgemental towards other parents including your own for doing things differently. You two seem to be doing great!! The idea of homeschooling doesn’t really sit well with me but studies show that homeschooled kids turn out just fine. So really whichever way you go, it will be just fine. And you can always change your mind if it doesn’t fit. Great video, and beautiful family 😊

Thanks for the feedback and I understand , what people don't seems to understand is parents are their child/children first line of defense and their child first line of destruction , and Jon is very correct on saying every child is different and will requires different parenting , just keep loving and protecting your child she is worth it and more

There are many many great mothers but its still unusual to see a great father to his daughter. Fathers are so important to daughters, its the one they will compare men too. As a woman who had very little to no attention from her father its something I love to see.
