The politicians of this lego city should go by the slogan "Build Bricks Better". Great job as usual. So amazing. The interior lighting makes all your interior work worth while. The view inside the terminal is unreal!!! Rather very real!!!
@@samuelbaugh4952 was just going off all the cronies in power today toting the great reset mantra "build back better". But as in Bevins City, he does Build Bricks Better than anyone.
Incredible job on the lighting. Really like the various views throughout the video. The tile updates just continue to add those little details that make your city stand out.
Amazing job! The bird's eye view at "night" makes it look like a real city. A suggestion about the failed light: put the maintenance guys near it as the were working there. 😉 Also, after your live I checked Brick Loot site. Unfortunately they don't send to Brazil yet, but I'll keep looking.
This is breathtaking! My mind can hardly deal with one building area in a Lego City, you've got half a dozen MAJOR projects simultaneously. I know how life takes precedence, but will you be updating the airport/city videos soon? If I may be so bold, an airport fire station looks in order as you have several awesome looking crash fire engines. Thank you so much for all your effort and creativity! Happy New Year, as well.
great job bevin with the lightning it loks very but we all agree it will 10x better when the whole city looks lit but keep up with great work and I hope to see more vids and city updates and other content that you do from you
You’re right, the lights do make it come alive! I’m impressed with the runway too, especially in bird’s eye view! I also love your freeway and the ramp (so far). In the past I’ve tried lighting up hollow buildings with 1-2 lights, and it works to an extent, but more lights is better.
I hear you on the issues with Briksmax, I've had a few bad experiences, HP Whomping Willow, one of the car's headlights was not working, The Haunted House Ride set, one section didn't light...then the 3-in-1 Pirate ship, installed very carefully...plugged it in...nothing worked!!! In this case, it was a bent connection 'pin' inside the one of the sockets in the expansion board, I took it out and put it into one of the empty sockets (happy there was one), and it worked! Will be interesting to see if the Blinky Bricks FX and Brick Loot systems somehow have a better feel to them, making them easier to work with. Thanks for the vid!!
So, there are these things called wall-wash lights in real life exterior lighting. Lighting from inside is awesome but the outside of the airport looked a little dark (the area with tanks out front). Still very cool and better than anything I've ever seen built or ever built myself. NICE WORK!
Yes I do intend to add some wall wash lights as you call them. They will be installed in the overhangs on the building :) curious are you an electrician as I generally dont hear people outside trades use that term.
This was one of my dreams as a kid :), i got my first City set on 2010 when was 6, I really like what you’ve done, and your content in general, keep it up!
I love how your doing some of those tricky street angles, and that exit ramp is perfect! The direction your going on that is way better than what I expected... And the airport lighting- I’m speechless!!! 😎
Your town looks amazing, and it is cool how you have added all that light to the airport. Will be awesome when you add lights to the other buildings too. Thanks for showing us the progress.
Man, since days I am pumped for building a biiig lego city one day. It's 1:22 pm now, I'm laying in my bed watching your video and I gotta say that this is one of the coolest cities I've seen so far. Been building star wars mocs in the past but that was a couple years ago. Now I wanna get back into the hobby and also do city stuff cause I LOVE IT. Thanks for the big inspiration👌keep up the great work man!
This is by far one of the best-looking most realistic brick-built towns i have ever seen! Congrats! And finally one where not only old buildings are being shown, which is what mostly keeps me from coming back. But you have a nice mix of old and new there. And your old buildings do not copy the sometimes quite cheesy stuff Lego gives us, but resemble the ones really seen in real towns. If i had something to critizise, it would be the much too small floor plans of the high-rises. There's not enough space for apartments or offices on each floor including a staircase and elevators. But generally: Amazing work! 👍
Thanks I appreciate it. As far as flooring space there is always a compromise when trying to keep it realistic. Believe it or not though hunting on your build techniques you can squeeze a lot of details into those floors.
Bevin my Brick Brother from the D, you have convinced me that I need to convert (eventually), from the new road plates, to fully snot brick built roadways! Obviously having jsut returned to lego within the year, I am going to build my city using MILS and the new road plates system LEGO recently moved too, but once I have that all laid out the way I want, I will be moving to your style of SNOT roadways! That exit ramp and just beautifully smooth transitional ramp is what sealed the deal for me!!!! great job on that exit ramp, it is truly beautiful, and I am so glad I watch your video uploads for ideas! You may infact take the #1 spot for my favorite LEGO content creator. Right now, Bricksie, is who is responsible for getting me back in touch with my childhood LEGO side, and helping me to discover that it's okay for Adults to build with LEGO! Just don't tell my Brothers I'm off playing with brick toys on the side, hahahahaha!
Thanks, I would recommend using the new Lego road plates with parts as opposed to doing the brick built roads. I say this as they are a much cheaper option. But the brick built roads in my opinion do look better and it's much easier to add a lot of different details to the road that way.
@@BevinsBricksWorld I'll Start with road plates, but eventually do the brick built for the details! Those details just cannot be beaten, they really can't, and I belief that its the little things that make something go from just okay or good to GREAT!

ah man it looks great. One of the best ones I've seen. Have you considered using fiber optics? That way you just need to have the LEDs in one spot and only need to feed fiber optic cable into the models. Would make it much easier to repair bad LEDs as well.
I saw instructions for those along with a road plate on my rebrickable page there should also be a video showing how to do them if that is your preference in my city builds playlist

That's what I was going to suggest. I work at an airport, and having a ramp light or two out at any given time is not unusual. More realism!

The airport was destroyed, but I plan to do a new version in the future, as I want a better looking terminal.
Looking Great and when you had the lights turned off the Sky sheets you have on the wall, looks better at night then during the day
My intention is to take those backdrops down and actually paint the entire wall so it will look better both day and night
