oussama gamer, indeed it is... This whole Julian Kingslei line is very unprofessionaly written... I mean, if you want some sado-masohistic scenes - there's Tokyo Ghoul for you. But Lelouch is not insane character that can be tortured like this. He'd found the way out...

@@user-qj9di4ct1p Dude what? He's literally under supernatural mind control powers forcing him to not remember who he actually is lmao. Also he does in fact show resistance to the powers, which is shown in the Akito movies and is why they eventually put him back in Ashford.
Lelouch is the greatest he's the best in this version, in the normal and in the resurrection one

This really looks interesting. Shame this never made it state-side. It reminds me of a fanfic titled Megiddo but I quit it because it became too much of a downer. Excellent editing skills. Everything flows so well. Good work.

Code geass s1 and s2 were pure art. As for Akito....ugh. The anime was nothing like code geass. There were no real fights. Like death scenes and all. Every character gave up to the thought of peace. It simply wouldn't be possible. Schneizel would never give up like the other characters did. It game me the Naruro vibes. "Hehsikrskir never give up!!!! Everyone is good!!!!!" Unrealistic like I said.The only good parts were with Suzaku and lelouch.
And it had a far far too happy ending for a Code geass installment.....
Akito should have died, and they should have lost everything......
There was no real Plot twist, (Except for Lulu being a part of all this, nice to know how he spend his time in the 1 year gap between the seasons...)
And you are right, they were the best parts, and they are barely in it.

Well, I found it pretty terrific how Shin killed his loved ones based on his Geass, which definitely provided relevant death situations.
But I heavily agree on your statement that the scenes with Julius and Suzaku were the best. They had this supreme dark and horrifying vibe, at least when I think back about them - at least when you think about the scenes and their background:
For how much Lelouch held his sister Nunnally as his utmost precious dear, for his rebellious heart, to witness himself correlating with a fake persona that obeys the Emperor, who took his very soul from him, that defies any importance Lelouch cherishes in his world, the only thing that comes to my mind to name this saddening state is "hell".
That is why, in retrospective, the line Lelouch statet when he claims the throne "I returned from the depths of hell, dear sister", holds a whole lot of more sense now - he spoke the very truth, since Lelouch proved himself numerous times to be quite the philosophical: what christianity describes to be hell is the very denying of God, turning away from god; and for how God in Code Geass resides (which is "C", the universe itself or the collective unconcious that experiences itself, thus creating a universe), meaning that "hell" might mean the same as "turning away from your true self", and with a forced fake persona/rewritten memory/sealed real self, this might indeed be the case.
And those really short scenes in Akito proved themselves really precious, for they eloquently showcased the suffering Lelouch, and definitely Suzaku as well, endured (given that Suzaku mourns over Euphemia, hates his best friend whom he betrayed, endures, protects and provides accompany whiles this man endures his twisted state of mind (Suzaku witnesses a man defying himself, while fighting and suffering to regain himself, but utterly fails at grasping any second of a clear state of mind (which is why he constantly begs for water)).
This song very suits Julius Kingsley.

Well, water is often regarded as the primary source of life. Water is associated with life and vitality, energy and purpose. It seems to me that Lelouch is begging for something he needs to live. And since his sister is established, verbatim, to be his 'reason for living', I would guess he's begging for Nunnally. He begged for her when his memories were taken, he begged for her when he regained his memories at the end of Akito the Exiled. Makes sense for him to beg for her now without knowing it.
Part of me feels like Suzaku's figured that out. At the end of R1 he swore to keep Nunnally away from Lelouch - strictly speaking, he swore to protect her (meaning protect her from Lelouch) - which sent Lelouch into a flying rage. So, having Lelouch beg for her over and over would kinda piss him off, more so than if he were just asking for water.
Plus, Suzaku seems to take a sort of sadistic pleasure in denying Lelouch the water; denying Lelouch what he wants most, taking what he loves most and holding it away from him, would give him some form of sick pleasure.

Siwen Shen Symbolism maybe? Water is pure and his sister is that pure and kind person. Lelouch keeps telling him to bring water to him as a way of telling Suzaku to bring him Nunnally.

It's from Akito the Exiled. You should watch it, it takes place in between R1 and R2 and it's great. It's on Funimation of course and other anime streaming sites. It's been dubbed now too.
