LOVED Aisha 🔥💛🔥I was so sad when Trini left but when Aisha came in she was so beautiful and super fierce. Love her aggressive fighting style. Hard Karate to match her strength. She was awesome in the movie also

Saban just took old episodes of super sentai dubbed em and did some reshoots. It was new to us, but old in Japan. Same thing with Kamen rider, Vr Troopers, and Beetleborgs. Fox was on a unstoppable dubbing rampage lol

Don’t hate on her too much. I’m pretty sure she’s the only ranger in the MMPR era to not ever be portrayed as a bully, to be placed under some sort of hate spell, or to be duplicated by evil such as the evil rangers made by Rita and Lord Zedd. More can be extended to that point that she’s the only female in the Zordon era to make it through completely good. Nit pick my first point of course if you want to include the Delphine from the Alien rangers in season 3.
I personally Love Aisha. For me, both Trini and Aisha are two of my favourite Rangers.
Also, Unpopular opinion, I like Aisha more than Tanya after her.
Trini and Aisha are the only 2 MMPR era Rangers to've never been a bully or placed under any spell. I won't hold the Power Ranger duplicates against Jason, Zack, Kim, Trini, and Billy because it's not fair to do so because it's not their fault Rita created them. I don't count the Aquations because that whole concept was stupid. I loved Aisha more than Tanya. Turbo would've been good had Aisha and Rocky been there for the 1st quarter then Barry Succeeded Rocky to form a whole new team in Turbo.

@@omarcogle1965 I love the time Aisha resisted Hate Master's Spell. I do think Trini and Aisha deserve more solo battles, but I did enjoyed the ones given to them. Plus, Aisha and Trini are not only 2 of my favourite Female PRs, but also 2 of my favourite Female Superheroes.
She does seem to get turned into objects quite regularly. 🤔
I prefer’s Aisha’s fighting style over than Trini’s. Aisha fighting style was more fast, aggressive and hit hard. While Trini was a bit slower in movement, and her blows didn’t look as strong. Plus Aisha’s moveset was unpredictable, unlike Trini’s. Also Aisha had a lot of strength. Trini’s fighting style is very similar to her power source, the saber tooth tiger. While Aisha’s fighting style is very similar to her Ninjetti power: The bear.
Your delusional ☠️🤣 trini had FAR better technique form combat ability Superior Range versatile in mixing up grabbing and striking and can do combos more effectively then Aisha ... Aisha legit only benefited off of better production by the time she joined so her fights looked more polished then trini even tho it’s still clearly obvious she wasn’t polished herself and lacked the technique trini was able to take out multiple puddles more effectively then Aisha and Aisha looked like she didn’t know what she was doing half the time
Also trini has better combat reaction and Fight IQ The actress was a ACTUAL KUNG FU PRODIGY Karan Ashley was never trained ☠️🤣.. Thuy Trang would have absolutely demolished Karan Ashley

Watching these montages of various characters in a row, it's unfortunate how they never really gave Aisha a consistent or unique fighting style. Adam and Zack were airborne half the time, Kim had open-handed strikes and gymnastics-based kicking, Tommy very showy martial arts, Rocky more practical and technique based moves. The choreography here really did her a disservice. If the actress was untrained, it would've fit a strong-willed (and bear-themed) character to just be tough as all hell. Take hits like a champ and dish them back.

I second this. For me they're both Top Tier Yellow Rangers and Top Tier Power Rangers Period. I think Aisha's either a very underrated Ranger or an overhated Ranger.

@@earlsanders1468 THANK YOU MAN! I agree with you 100%. A criticism I hear getting throw at her lately is "She's a black Kimberly" and I have a few things to say to that:
1) I hate the "He/She's like another character but race-bent" mentality. I would just say "He/She too much like another character".
2) Now, if Aisha had replaced KIMBERLY as the Pink Ranger, as some Power Rangers What If...? Scenarios have suggested, then maybe I would've had a problem with her being somewhat similar to Kim. But the fact of the Matter is she DIDN'T replace Kimberly as the Pink Ranger, she replaced TRINI as the Yellow Ranger, and I think it was more important for the writers of MMPR that Aisha differed in personality from Trini, which I think they did a great job at, as I LOVED Aisha's personality.
3) With this reasoning, can't a similar thing be said about Adam being similar to Billy in Personality? Think about it. both of them were shy guys, who were bullied a lot, and had quite a few love interests here and there throughout the series. This isn't a criticism of Adam, as I love him, and I think they did a good job at him differing from Zack, who I also Love. I'm just saying people could at least keep their opinions consistent.
4) There are two kinds of Sassiness in the world: The Feisty type (tell it like it is) and the Snarky/Cheeky type (a bit more subtle). To me, Kimberly fits into the Feisty category along with Gia of the Megaforce Rangers, Rogue of the X-Men and Gamora of the Guardians of the Galaxy, while Aisha fits into Snarky one with Emma of the Megaforce Rangers, Kitty Pryde of the X-Men and Kate Bishop of the Young Avengers.
I hope this was a good case for Aisha.

i loved Aisha to but its Sad what Happen to Trini. they was the Reason i like Yellow. I Even had the Power Rangers Movie Game which i played Every Day And just Choosed Aisha in this^^
There is no comparison with Trini. Trini knew how to fight. She is an amateur in fighting technics compared to Trini
She's isn't trini, but that doesn't mean she can't defend herself, plus she has sass. She's the reason my favourite color is yellow.
There is no comparing the two. The fact that you feel the need to compare the two, especially when no one asked for it, is honestly kinda sad and it makes me question your own happiness. Aisha was a fantastic successor for Trini. Plus, you not liking her is a personal problem. Plenty of fans adore and love her as a character and a fighter.
I read somewhere she was half Mexican but the character had two African American parents. Adam actor was also biracial.
Why did the actress stopp using her natural hair n start using braids? Jus curious...
She actually talked about this. There wasn’t really anyone in the hair department that knew how to cater to black hairstyles so she essentially was doing her own hair at first. By the time the movie rolled around she asked if she could just switch to braids since it was an easy and “pre-ready” hairstyle and the producers agreed. I know this was long lol 😂
Plus think about it. If she had to press her hair every time, the breakage would be irreparable. Not to mention doing those moves more than once would mess up the press (hot iron) due to sweat. By doing braids she gave her hair a break and probably saved her hair from permanent damage....
She was my least favorite of the three newbies, kind of a Kim clone without the gymnastic ability.
I personally like Aisha but I did always say she was a black version of Kimberly but with more sas.

I hate whole "Aisha's just a black Kim" crap. Aisha Succeeded Trini not Kim. Aisha needed to be different from both Trini and Zack. Aisha and Kim were 2 different types of sassy. Kim was more feisty and in your face like Rogue in XMen. Aisha was more snarky/cheeky and not-so-much in your face like Kitty Pryde in XMen and Kate Bishop in The Young Avengers.
We could, by your own logic compare Adam and Billy. Both started out shy and are scientifically smart and had a few love interests here or there.

You are right! Aisha was for sure different than Kimberly. Aisha was more of a cute & bubbly Ninja/ nerd who was a bit of a Tom boy in the beginning, she had moments where she was slightly overbearing & low key bossy ( but not in a negative way.) and she was more of a bubbly free spirit. Kimberly was the same way but she was more reserved with hers.
Aisha was her own character. In season 2, She started out on the show as a ninja and we assumed her character would be a bit of a Nerdy and Tom-boy because of her affiliation with Rocky and Adam. She obviously bonded with Adam and Rocky, but Her ninja background and eagerness to learn allowed her to connect with Tommy. She was super intelligent as well which bonded her with Billy. But as she got to know Kimberly we saw more of her girly side.
By the time season 3 rolled around she embraced more of her softer side and mostly clicked with Kimberly and became fashionistas until Kat came along, she was not a female version of Zack nor was she stereotypical, she was different from Trini, Kim, and Tanya.
I think what people are saying is she had so many similarities that they were practically the same person (although they weren’t) Kim seemed to have gotten along with Aisha more than anyone else on the show and because we were introduced to Kim first, it’s easier to say that she’s a clone of her. I get what everyone is saying on all sides.
My favorite yellow ranger EVER (yes trini was first ) but we got more out of aiesha as she got older she got better .. not to mention trini was very boring she had no personality AIESHA was bomb on the MMpowerrangers movie

OMG Karan was a terrible choice she's too short and her fighting skills were terrible she didn't know how to fight. Anybody could've done what she did
Kimberly/Amy Jo was short.
Karan was actually a great dancer. Whoever choreographed these fights simply didnt care to emphasize her strengths.
Trini and Tanya are top tier Tanya learned to fight better then Aisha ... and can actually throw a combo of straight fast punches I had yet to see Aisha do that
While Aisha just punched wildly and kicked like a average girl with just more brute force and aggression she didn’t look like she knew what she was doing and seemed lost trini would absolutely destroy her and use her aggression against her Karan Ashley was never actually trained before ....
lol what? Aisha was trained, she, Rocky and Adam participated in that ninja contest. So, Aisha was already a trained fighter, due to the shows lore.
Trini would absolutely destroy her it’s no question u can tell thuy Trang actually knew how to fight and was dangerous irl she knew martial arts and Bc of that she was able to perform actual taekwondo kicks and Kung fu moves with far exceeded technical movements and was able to handle tougher puddles easier and has a a while arsenal and rage of attacks
Saban should've convinced Austin Saint John, Walter Jones, and Thuy Trang to let them give them a proper writeout, made Karen Ashley JohnSon be trained, and had Jason, Tommy, Zack, and Trini train Rocky, Adam. and Aisha specially with some of both Zack's hip hop kido and Trini's preying mantis kung fu which would've been dope.

Tanya did it! And she came in the series as an African student with no martial arts training! Remember the 3 replacements were introduced undercover martial arts competitors at the school. That set in stone that Aisha was already a martial arts expert and far better fighter than Tanya! Tanya had to be trained by Adam how to do martial arts in Zeo!
Tanya was originally supposed to be Ayesha played by a different actress when Nikia BurRise replaced Karan Ashley JohnSon. I reckon Jason, Tommy, and Billy taught Tanya somethings as well. Tanya was definitely on Jason's, Tommy's, Zack's, and Adam's level by the time Turbo came. Jason, Tommy, Zack, Adam, Trini, Aisha, and Tanya should've trained TJ, Cassie, Carlos, and Ashley when they 1st started but they got good with time specially when Andros and Zhane (and hopefully Karone (when she was turned back to normal)) trained them.
