so the pipe didn't break due to driving over it? I ask because I am getting a shed delivered in a couple of weeks and my water line from the well is only 12 inches deep. The truck has to drive right over the buried pvc. I am very concerned about that.
I have an aerobic septic system but I wish we had a drain field type system which requires no electricity. But they are not allowed here probably because you need to have good draining soil for that type of system. We have lots of clay so that won't work here.
Why so many expensive connections? Just cut the T out and replace like you did, then cut a little extra, like you did, from the one side, then just put a coupler and small extension piece -- easier and cheaper, less chance for leaks
Extreme overkill. Buy a repair coupling. Its just a reg coupling without a stop. Have two pieces of pipe basically touching , get everything all primed and glued. Slide it clear over the one pipe,line it up with the other pipe and slide it back halfway....done. How much extra do these cost? Prob 2x more than everything Else in fitting aisle
I see comments about overkill. He did the repair well and used pieces that could potentially last longer than a standard, cheaper patch. To each their own.

Why not put in a pop-up sprinkler head?
They are pop ups but they sometimes get clogged up and I got tired of digging them out of the ground.
@@petebeasttexashomesteading It's so easy to clean them the few times they need cleaning...better than running over them and fixing a break?
