+visualkeirockstar It depends on what rod you have, main factors are, rod weight, thickness of the leader and how long the leader is, a short thick leader will have no problem rolling over a big fly, but if you're casting a big clouser on a 5 weight, changing the leader up will only get you so far :)

how about some tips on casting heavy flies? i have some clouser minnow but never really use them because i can't get it to go far.

Will this bait work in a city man-made pond, and knowing that the trout are coming from a farm. which they feed them pellets?
