Annapurna Temple is the oldest temple in Indore which was built in the 9th century. The statue of the main Goddess Maa Annapurna was established on 21 February 1959 in the temple. It was built in 1959 by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Prabanandagirimharaj. The main gate of the temple was constructed in 1975.

The Annapurna temple is a beautiful example of the magnificent union of Aryan and Dravidian architecture. The height of the Annapurna temple is more than 100 feet. Maa Annapurna Mandir is spread over 2 acres.
Temple's main entrance door is constructed in accordance with Southern Indian Architecture on the back of four large elephants. Inside the Annapurna temple, you will see the idol of Maa Annapoorna is shine with Maa Kali and Maa Saraswati.
Best Time to Visit Annapurna Mandir
According to my opinion, the best time to visit Maa Annapurna temple will be during the evening time especially after 7 pm. The best time to visit Annapurna temple Indore will be during the festivals and in the evening.
The best time to visit Annapurna temple as per season will be winter because during this time weather is good in the Indore city for the visiting tourist places in Indore. You can plan your journey here from October to March months.
If you want to visit this temple peacefully with so crowded then you should avoid festivals such as Navratri.
Annapurna Temple Indore Timings
Annapurna Temple opens daily for the devotees. Temple opens in the early morning at 05:00 am and closed in the late evening at 11:00 pm.
So you can go to the temple any time of the day as per your convenience and get blessed by Maa Annapurna.
Maa Annapurna Mandir Indore Aarti Timings
Every temple has a daily routine to worship to the temple the main deity. At the Annapurna temple, around 06:00 am in the morning routine worship is performed by Maa Annapurna and all other deities.
Annapurna temple is about 5.5 km far away from the railway station and the Sarvate bus stand. The airport is about 8 km far away from the temple.
