Finally found a channel where they don't talk for 10 minutes before playing the bloody instrument! Subscribed.
:-D thank you James, great to hear!
Great sound. How much adjusting did you do to the levels😙
I know a lot of people watching this channel only like "real" sounding e-drums, but honestly the electronic sounds on this kit are some of the coolest I've heard in a while. To me, this is equally as important.
Absolutely! :)
I just bought these drums because of the awesome sound that you are getting out of these. I sure hope I can get em to sound this good.
What's new is old fashion! Thank you so much ralf and all staff at drum tec! I appreciate all vids and information, great freek in job guys! Much kind regards.
Thank you Louis! :)
This is the best drummer and I love how he just plays
This good sir can play anything! Nice demo!
Thank you so much Jireh! You can find more drumming / music & sound demo videos over at my private channel digitaldrumming too if you like:

Kind regards!
Man... As always loves the grooves 🤙
epic mate 👍👍
Thank you so much! :)
Im surprised at how good this module sounds!
These probably sound better than any electric kit I've ever heard!
What are you playing these through to make them sound so good?
Can these be connected and played through a tascam dp24?
Fantastic demo, thanks a lot! Are you able to demo the new DM-8? I’m thinking about purchasing that soon!
Nice demo! Quick question: is it possible to assign a different cross-stick sound to a snare? I found out that some of the snare dont have a cross-stick sound or am I missing something? Thanks 🙏
i gotta say...thos guy is really impressive - he's got a groove 'bout a mile deep!
Thank you so much! You can find more drumming / music & sound demo videos on my private channel digitraldrumming too if you like:

That fill at 6:03!!!
😀
I swear these kits sounds like the presets from addictive drums 2
Thanks for the video!! Quick question, when I save a new sound (for example an edit to my snare drum). If I unplug the drum set, will I lose the new sound I saved? Does the Alesis Nitro Dm7x have an internal battery that maintains newly saved info when it's unplugged? Or will it go back to the factory default? Thanks much!
How sett for modul ? For sound same with you
Can this kit use rim-shot ?
I have only 1 and important question, is the sound exactly the same as what sounds in the video? Or am I going to buy the battery and find a different sound? I say if the video has some type of editing or something like that, by the way which headphones or amplifier are recommended
Wow nice sound 😍 But can DM7X module triggered nicely with Roland Pads, kick/hihat trigger? I have TD-4 but the module broken 😭 If I can replace it with this DM7X module it would be nice
Please feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for any questions concerning cross compatibility. Kind regards!
Hi there! Can you make a review of Nux DM8? please. thanks
Coming soon some time in the not-too-distant future hopefully, kind regards!
Hello Ralf, greetings, I follow you on all networks. I would like to ask you a question, all nux drums have two zones on the cymbals and all series, except the dm 210 have three zones on the ride.
This means that different sounds than cymbals can be assigned to each zone? For example, a cowbell and a shaker sound in a same cymbal pad?
Thanks My friend
Thank you Juan, that's nice to hear! :) please get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de, the guys will gladly help you out. I cannot remember honestly, as it's been some time since I demo'd the NUX kits, and I didn't actually have much time to fiddle around with the module. Kind regards!
Pls review nux dm8 sir..
Coming for sure in the near future. Kind regards!
Great video and awesome drumming!!! I also saw your review of the Yamaha dtx6-kx that are also in this price range, I think. Which kit do you think is better in terms of sound and functionality? With the Yamaha you obviously get less cymbals and toms (not to mention they're made out of rubber), but I guess the module is better than the one in the Nux. I'm thinking of getting one of those. Could you give your overall opinion, please? Many thanks in advance!
P. S. I'm playing at a very beginner level, but I'm looking for nice sound, nonetheless.
Thank you very much! The DTX PRO module has some great sounds, you might also combine it with other compatible mesh head pads to get a better playing feel out of your kit (the small rubber pads are indeed not that great to play).
Feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further assistance, you can basically get any compatible custom kit configuration & we ship internationally. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Thanks a lot! Greetings from Bulgaria and have a great day! :)
how about NUX DM-8 electronic drums sound module playing all kits demo?
Scheduled for the near future :) kind regards!
This sounds awesome. I wish I could get the extra tom pad in Australia. That's the only thing holding me back from purchasing. This looks so solid and sounds responsive as hell. Riffs and licks music that sells these locally had no idea about where to purchase the additional tom for the kit. If anyone can help me, I'm on the Gold Coast, Australia. Cheers
Hey Mathew, we ship internationally :) you can find the complete kit here:
www.drum-tec.com/nux-dm-7xe-e-drum-set?number=1009766
Kind regards!
I know its been a year but artist guitars have toms and cymbals for order, getting a new cymbal next week. $100
Are the sounds in this video, the straight-from-module sounds or are they processed/vst?
Hey Aaron, it's all stock kits from the module. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Thanks. These videos are great. I don't have a lot of cash to buy top end Roland and it was great to hear the NUX DM7X - In the end I got a deal on the new DM-8 so I assume it will at least sound as good, if not better - no idea of course because, well, information on these kits seems hard to come by. What I would love is if you guys did overviews too, especially of NUX stuff because most of what I could find is Indonesian (?) :) Cheers.
did you manage to assignsounds to all the rims and cymbal zones? mine only lets me assign ONLY ONE sound on tom1's rim, but does not allow any changes to tom3 and tom 4 rims, or cymbal zones...can you assist? thanks
Just purchased one of these ... and it does not output HH pedal position on a CC#. So no variable hi hat control. So my old DTX450 is actually better for using to trigger drum VST's.
2:31 🎉🎉
Hi!!! I' m searching an electric drum with the 80s sound (gated reverb) in al the drums, not only in the snare. This drum can do it??? 🤔
Between this Nux dm7x and the Alesis command mesh kit, what would be the best option? greetings from Chile
Are these sounds from the updated soundbank ? coz I got the DM7 and all I got were the bad ones (Pop,Rock, metal etc. 1-8presets)
Is this better than Roland TD07DMK?
@drumtec tv..do you guys create custom drum kit sounds that can be utilized for Alesis DM10 MK II pro kit?
What this with vst plugin ? And what your sound ? Very good
Hi Hendra, this demo shows the NUX DM7X onnboard sounds. There is no external VST plugin :) you can find more info on the kit / module over here:
www.drum-tec.com/nux-dm-7xe-e-drum-set
www.drum-tec.com/nux-dm-7x-sound-module
Kind regards!
Hi. Is this expandable by using pads and cymbals from different brands? Alesis for example. Or is this exclusively expandable using NUX brands?
Hey Emmanuel, feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further info on cross compatibility. Kind regards!
Hey man! As always, great demo.
What are the differences between DM7 and DM7x?
Can you also tune the toms to get the octoban sound?
A bit late here but I think one of the differences is that in the DM7X, all of the tom and snare mash heads are made by Remo, as for the DM7, only the Snare one is made by Remo.
@@aorock747 Hey thank you for the reply. Can you also do octoban sounds?
@@Donati666 I'm not sure if the Module has these sounds but what I can tell you is that it has an USB input, which allows you to connect your drum set module to your drum software and use those sounds in your drums.
@@aorock747You mean, I can upload drum sounds via USB and assign that sound in any drum pad? If yes then this is great. I just hope the quality of this build is much sturdier than other china brands out there.
@@Donati666 No, I mean, you can use those sounds to record your drums into your recording software. If you use FL Studio and you have a drum VST, you can use those sounds to record your drums. But as far as I know, you can't upload those sounds into the drum module. This one only they can tell for sure, or maybe they have something in their official website. I bought the DM7 and I should get it this week. I can tell you more about it when I get it.
I just bought this kit and have seen there is a firmware / soundbank update available. I was wondering which sounbdbank version you are playing in this video? If you upgraded it and what the benefit of the upgrade is. Thanks,
Hi! Do you have any white noise after hitting pads? Got this kit a couple of months ago and I'm very disappointed with the soundbanks quality.
@@Contrabass2008You already solved the problem?
@@thesamuelskate Unfortunately I didn't. Some dude on the Internet told me this is unfixable. The problem is sensors vibrating, that causes white noises. The only way is using audio devises and VST I suppose.
How about the double bass? Is it able to use from acoustic drum? Or we have to buy at nux?
You can use any hardware on any electronic drum kit :) You'll find some options here:
www.drum-tec.com/hardware
Kind regards!
What would you recommend more? This one or the Alesis Crimson II?
Hey Joan, the NUX DM-7X is superior in many aspects (playability/triggering, feel, sounds, pads). You can get it in the expanded version with an additional tom pad from drum-tec:
www.drum-tec.com/nux-dm-7xe-e-drum-set
Kind regards!
I just found out about this brand, they just released their DM-8 kit. How does this one holds against other drumkits with similar price tag? say, Roland, Alesis or Yamaha?
Hi, unfortunately I cannot comment on the DM-8 kit yet, but we'll be doing a demo for sure in 2023 :) kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Oh sorry if I wasn't clear, was asking about how the DM-7X performs compared to other kits in that price tag.
@@D14V0R05 :-D ah ok, in my opinion it performs better than Alesis kits in the same price range. Any Roland / ATV / EFNOTE / drum-tec pads/kits will play in a different league though, but they'll be more expensive in the most cases too. Kind regards!
Suena muy bien
Is it just me or there's a triggering problem with this kit? The ghost notes are not translated very well.
Where did you get those sounds. I have DM7. tHey said Dm7 and 7x sounds the same. But i dont have the sounds you played in this video. Help man.
Hi Emmanuel, all sounds are stock kits from the DM7X module that you can find over here:
www.drum-tec.com/nux-dm-7x-sound-module
Kind regards!
Deciding between this and Roland TD-07KV? Which one should I pick?
Hi, the NUX is a nice kit, but the Roland TD-07KV will offer better triggering/playability/build quality. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Hi, how about between this and Roland TD-1DMK? Which one is better in terms of triggering/playability/build quality? Also, I might play a lot more with VST plugin in the future.
@@drumtecTV Thank you. Just deciding for this
Is this kit good for double bass pedals?
good questiom, but sadly no answer...
what's the cost, shipment included to Chile?
You can find the kit over here:
www.drum-tec.com/nux-dm-7xe-e-drum-set
Please get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for an individual quote including international shipping. Kind regards!
Does this cymbals swing or they must be that tight?
Hey Theodore, by standard unfortunately they don't have a special swing mount and are rather stiff. Kind regards!
Can this drum kit be used in combination with Alesis cymbals, snare and toms? My Alesis DM-10 drumkit is malfunctioning.
Hey Jerrel, please feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further assistance concerning cross compatibilty please. Kind regards!
Hi can I have your configured sound set on this drum kit?
What do you mean, all kits from the demo are standard stock kits, that are already in the module :) kind regards!
This electronic drum kit have play alone?
Hey Carlos, I am not sure actually. You can find more info on the kit/module over here:
www.drum-tec.com/nux-dm-7xe-e-drum-set
Kind regards!
This or Roland td07dmk?
Depends on what you are looking for. The NUX module offers more sounds than the TD-07, but qualitywise Roland is still Roland! Also, the pads of the TD-07DMK are fully compatible with other, bigger Roland modules, if you ever want to upgrade.
@@drumtecTV thanks
Will this work with Ez drummer ?
Yes it will :)

Where ghostnote???
sounds good fat and api like
Toque samba também, irá incrementar os grooves. 🇧🇷
Hi Herbert, well I didn't play any Samba rhythms that is right :) but some world/ethno style kits start from 8:25. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV THANKS!
How do you compare this with roland td17kv? Thanks.
Hi, playability/triggering and build quality wil be much better with a Roland (which is also more expensive for that reason). Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Thanks for the reply. Although it's a bit too late already as I've already bought a NUX DM8. Just waiting for it to be delivered. Haha. Hope it will turn out fine. The roland td17kv is actually on sale right now where I live, and its price is the same as the DM8. But all good, I'm sure I will enjoy the NUX as much as I would enjoy the roland. Thanks.
@@LLLLLLL260 Alright, happy drumming! :)
Hi Lott,
And how are you doing with the Nux DM8?, I've ordered it too, but it seems to be super good.
in your opinion is the nux dm-7x better or yamaha dtx 452k
