    Is the wacom cable responsible for the s pen function?

    Hello, I replaced the screen and S pen is detected only on small portions of the screen. Now i wonder should I glue all together or look for another screen or other defective piece

    How to fix it if the inner screen is damaged

    • @tekdep
      @tekdep  6 месяцев назад

      Hello, Good question! Fixing the inner display, commonly referred to as refurbishing, is a labor-intensive process requiring specialized tools. Extracting the display involves considerable time, materials, and risk of scratching the LCD making it less commonly done for Samsung Tablets compared to Apple devices. Therefore, we recommend replacing the entire assembly instead.
      Thank you!

      around 50 to 60 bucks for the repair kit, maybe an additional few bucks for a heating element like the heating pad or a hair dryer if you dont own one

      Hi, I went through the same steps you did. However, the screen is still not working. The device is making noises and it makes the charging sound when plugged in. The old screen was working, just cracked badly. What am I possibly missing?

      @@natet7323same Problem here. I might have bent the main lcd cable. Swaping it in a few days...

      Apparently, two items from the old screen were suppose to be relocated to the replacement screen. The old screen was tossed by accident by a family member. I ordered the items and installed....still not working.

      You have to replace the screen

      Mine is exactly the same, it's a fault with the tablet, it's well documented on the forums. I have had my screen replaced and they come back in time, so I don't think I will bother trying to get it fixed again.

    After the repair, everything worked well, touch and spen. But after a while, the touch stopped working, only the spen works now.
    During this period, oneUi was updated. Any tips to try to resolve this, or is it a screen defect.

    • @tekdep
      @tekdep  5 месяцев назад

      I don't think it is a screen defect, in the last week or so Samsung has pushed out an update that has made touch screens not responsive to touch, only responding to S-Pens. We are hoping for a software fix in the next few days.

      Hello, that is unfortunate!
      Make sure you have connected all the flexes and used anti-static tweezers and plastic prying tools. Also, be sure to disconnect the battery whenever you touch the logic board. If you need tools or mail-in repair, visit our website. tekdep.com/

      Sounds like you either didn't connect something right or you fried the board, or maybe you destroyed a fpc connector next time don't touch it
