I agree that your approach to watercolour is a beautiful thing. You give this medium a life that is so warm and encouraging to explore. Thank you and please keep developing your teaching videos.
Two years later and beginners like me are gaining essential skills watching your excellent videos; especially your constant reminder that painting watercolour is a joy and should bring happiness (not stress). Thank you so much 🙏
I appreciate your effort and your commitment to share your knowledge. Your videos are inspiring and very helpful as well. Love your wonderful loose paintings. Thank you so much and please continue!
Thank you for encouraging us to use our own colors and other materials. This is a way to learn. I make changes in the subject so not to copy your paintings completely. You are very talented and thank you for sharing.
Greetings from Canada...I absolutely love your style, I'm addicted! I seem to struggle with becoming more loose with my work, but your videos with commentaries on confidence is helping me achieve that. Thank you so much!
So super helpful. I've been doing watercolor for some time now and sometimes I forget at times that aerial perspective is so important in watercolor, even more then the actual color itself. Thank u for the wonderful reminder, and what a beautiful piece, with such amazing granulation across the entire painting. It's almost a unifying factor in itself. Love your channel, keep up the great work!!!
Thank you Nitinji. You explanation and how to build up layers is very very helpful. I never understood that in water colour, now your demo has made it clear to me. Also many times I did not allow the paint to dry, and it was a disaster. Or the paint would get too dry! Thanks
Beautiful painting and technique. Good lesson on perspective and I like the way you say to keep it fun! The painting is very loose but everything is well defined at the end. You can tell what everything is and it works beautifully. Thank you.
Your videos are fantastic!! Very inspiring! You offer great advice. Your tutorials are helping me a lot because I see how you build up the layers. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Thanks so much for sharing. It's great how you are creating depth and dimension with a couple of bruhstrokes. Also, I like how "light and loose" your painting looks. Great work.
A wonderful painting on creating perspective through glazes. I just returned from a class discussing and demonstrating this technique. This added so much more! Thank you. Please tell me what kind of watercolor paper you use -- it gives wonderful texture especially the mountains and trees. Splendid!
It'd be nice to have another camera placed on your palette and attach it as a small window by the side of the main video because i think i could use learning how you mix your colors and such. Your videos are great by the way! love the loose style.
Thank you. I am new and learning. You explain wonderfully. I see important to put color on and leave it alone. Less strokes better more water let it flow. I need Basics!
Yes Antia, perspective can be brought through watercolor tones with the help of more to less water. A good painting should always has these most important values - Depth, light, warm /cool color and a balanced composition. I tried to stitch all these value in this demo :)
Indeed very interesting technique of layer painting....However, I am facing a difficuty ....i.e. that the paper "warps' when I start painting the sky this makes the paper very uneven.... what should I do to avoid this
Ideally this should not happen, i think you are applying lot of water on paper. Are you using watercolor paper? if not please use only watercolor paper and apply color gently :)
ur all tutorial videos are too gud! im learning a lot ! thnks for uploading! im using same camel water color! bt i dnt knw what type of sheets shuldi use!
