It would be great to see some 1970s editions of Houseparty if you have any.
Thank you! Great to see more of these Houseparty episodes.
I'm getting excited.
I remember this! Would love to see more. Another interesting upload
Fantastic programme! Loved it and the ladies.
I remember my Mum watching this - well, I remember the beginning part, "Ding-Dong, House Party!". I was too young to pay attention to the chat. But I remember it from much earlier than 1980 - would have been early 70s.
Me too, my memories are of early 70's long dresses, pinafores and flares.
If you remember this, chances are you were probably playing truant from school. 😊
Oh thank you, a new HP. Thank you for this ❤
I remember this 'twin-set and pearls' lot from when I was a kid, if I was off school. They always seemed very snobbish to me, but I remember one named Sylvia, who was big and loud and seemed fun. I bet Victoria Wood watched this, it screams of her and Julie Walters together.
They seem decent people what’s wrong with having a ‘posh’ accent?
In private they were all into the Sex Pistols and bondage gear.
I used to see this when i was off school, there was a cute one on there Lucy Morgan who died of cancer.
Please tell me Marian Shuttleworth is in more episodes than this one. Her constant passive aggressive putdowns and her contrariness are hilarious.
I think she is. And yes, why is she so passive aggressive!??
Thanks, I've not seen this one before. I wonder what that Queen Mother's proof set cost in 1980? It's worth about £20 today.
I think I remember a radio host mentioning this program, and how similar it was to "Loose Women".
0I was raised in Holyhead on Anglesey, i believe they mean Llanfawr PG which is indeed truncated for the longest station name.
Oh dear. You wonder the extent to which the (male) Producer and (male) Director were influenced by the 1975 film "The Stepford Wives"...
It’s great when people had more class and didn’t think acting common and rough is attractive and liberating.
do you have any early editions of runaround with mike Reid from 1975?
The very early loose women..
But with class
