      I love the level 6 even if it’s really long
      It represents perfectly the stress of being chased by a monster
      Also the lights and the alarm are really well used

    There are 2 levels where you are basically not able to die, though 1 of them you can drown but it's so easy to avoid, I miss the OG apeirophobia's level 4 where you had to find a white door in an underground water park or something like that but the water level would rise over time, but every other level, new and old, are much better than the original imo

      Why did they remove that? I didn't hear of apeirophobia until they removed that level now I can only see old playthroughs for it :(

      @@eviler_spoger Honestly you didn't miss out on much, it was pretty easy to find before dying because you'd hear a sound the closer you got to it, though if you got super unlucky then you may die, but even then you'll normally just make it

      yeah they nerfed level 4, if they didn't have nerfed level 4 then I would've put level 4 on B tier on my tier list.

    Heres what I'd rank them from playing on Nightmare for difficulty
    11/10/9: The Windows, Sublimity, Sewers
    These levels are just filler, and you literally can't die on them unless you reset
    8: The End
    This level is the same regardless of what difficulty you play, it'd be cool if they made the codes longer for Nightmare
    7: Cave System
    This level is super easy if you take the right path, because when you go the right way you don't even see the entity typically
    6: The Poolrooms
    This level is way easier with 2 people, because 1 can distract the entity by staying at the start, and the other can do the valves
    5: The Lobby
    This level is basically just a coin flip because typically you either find the entities and die, or win without seeing them once
    4: !!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Level 6 has been moved to number 4 because the bug was fixed, now you have to run the whole way (and with limited stamina, is a lot harder)
    3: The Abyss
    This level has the same strategy as The Poolrooms, one player can distract the entities by staying in a locker, and the other can find the keys
    2: Lights Out
    This level is similar to The Abyss because the entity is known to camp lockers, which can be easily exploited. It is hard to see and without Sixth Sense, it's genuinely scary
    1: (fuck this level) Abandoned Office
    This level is the hardest level to play on Nightmare in the entire game in my opinion (and probably others' opinions too) this entity can straight up come around a corner and kill you because you didn't react fast enough and even if you did, you'll still die. On the off chance you complete the first section, it gets a bit easier. But this level really sells the point of Nightmare difficulty. One mistake, and you're already dead

    Level 8 and Level 10 are swapped, because level 8 is really easy if you know where to go but level 10 is more based on RNG (also i think they fixed the camping bug but I think entities benefit off that)
    Level 11 would probably place in 3 because the parkour is very difficult and if you make any mistakes you will most likely die and lose
    Level 12 goes into the filler level category (meaning its basically free) you can't die on this level, because there are no entities (but if you reset then uhhhh) but you have to find 3 paintings and put them in the correct order and the level will gradually turn more red when you get paintings in correctly and once you find and correctly place all three a door opens in the map and you can escape

      Atually you can die in sublimity and sewers, in sewers there is (or was) glitch that maked u spawn outside the map in giant water cube with no exit from it, same with sublimity but its not glitch

    They’re definitely gonna add level fun in the windows level, making it so that if you see confetti fall from the sky and you jump from the window with the chair you get sent to level fun

      No. They’re gonna make it so that you EVENTUALLY get to level fun by beating other levels, like how every other level is. They aren’t gonna do anything with the windows.

    I love level 7 the end cause it shows which ones have a brain, and which others do not which means in level 8, they might be a good one to be sacurficed.

    Level 8 is my personal favorite because 1. its pitch black and you can barely see infront of you with a flashlight, 2. the monster is terrifying and hearing its groans get closer and closer until it eventually lets out that blood curdling scream where you know you are screwed, and 3. where its genuinely challenging on nightmare mode and gives you a thrill. well done level overall and i love playing it.

    My list:
    -----
    *F tier:*
    Level 9. You spawn underwater and can drown, the map is extremely small and the only good thing you have is a lean pool
    *D tier:*
    Level 2. The level itself looks interesting, but is just there to fill in space.
    Level 4. Same reasoning as above, nothing too interesting.
    *C tier:*
    Level 5. The level is annoying to navigate, and the only entity on the level is stupid.
    Level 8. The level could have been really interesting, however, the skin stealer just spends 99% of his time in the chair room (the only path to the second map section, where the exit is). This makes it difficult for new players who just avoid going to where he is, and if you want to beat the level you have to sit outside the entrance to the room for a solid few minutes and wait for the skin stealer to go into your area. And when it does see you, running might be an issue because of the countless dead ends. But that isnt an issue because the entity itself is quite stupid, blind, deaf and everything, so avoiding being spotted isnt a problem most of the time
    *B tier:*
    Level 6. People with weaker devices who take longer to load in might just die when playing in groups, the alarms are literally like 60 db and there are a lot of glitches which allow you to cheese the level, but other than that, the level is really well done.
    Level 10. This level is quite terrifying, however, the doors are undeniably annoying. You rely on pure rng and if you open 3 wrong doors it gets really boring when you look for the last key. Not to mention the titan smilers who, well, have broken ai.
    *A tier:*
    Level 1. The water is annoying to swim in, thats all i have to complain. Its quite clear what to do when you first enter the level, the map is nice and is just made to be played on when there is an entity like that present.
    Level 7. The puzzles are nice, but are really time wasting. The extremely long crouch walk in the vent could have been prevented, and while i like entering code after code... Come on. 100 codes in a book and you enter them one by one? Could have hidden them around the place at least to make it more interesting...
    *S tier:*
    Level 0. backrooms. however, the entities do camp you as hard as the titan smilers on level 10. nice cores, badges and everything.
    Level 3. Best level in the game imo. It has interesting objectives which you do one by one, and the threat is by far the most unique out of all different levels! Though it is hell if you do it solo in nightmare, and some spaces are hard to squeeze through until you realize you shouldnt look down or up.

    honestly, for me lights out were really annoying, but ig only bc me and my friends didnt know how to get through it so we stopped there (also stopped there because we all full on died)
    my favorite was level !, since the whole chasing thing and that i managed to find the exploit first try after all my friends died, overall fun
    but my favorite that (seemingly) was removed was the one where the water was rising slowly, and the exit made a faint buzzing noise, sad it was removed :/

    also im gonna make my own tier list on these levels myself.
    F tier - Level 2 ofc it's on f tier due to the fact it's really easy to escape and you can only explore just a tad bit in this level. level 9 again, really easy to escape this level but it's above level 2 is that you can explore more, and you actually need an item to escape this, well sometimes you dont.
    D tier - level 4 this is the first level you can actually explore a bit more without trying to exit, but still it is really easy to escape again, and the only reason it's not on f tier is ofc you can explore more. level 5 the first ever level to have an entity on this tier list, but again you will not see 4/5 times when you are doing a run, and even if you do all you have to do is keep looking at to not follow you plus this level is still easy to escape. level 12 now you might be asking "how is it this low?" it's because due to the fact that it's really easy to escape if you know what to do, plus even if you don't know what to do, you will pretty much escape like it was nothing besides you have to put the paintings in a specific order to finish it, and there is no entites to chase you down so it's really easy.
    C tier - level 0 now you might be asing, "why is it this low? without it aperiophobia wouldn't even probably a backrooms game" yes that is indeed true, but it's again really easy to escape due to the fact you can just follow the arrows to the exit, simple as that, and probably you might not even see the entites, but if you do you can outrun them, or you can just go into the area where ben's chair is. level 1 I put this above level 0 due to the fact that you are actually have to do something (besides trying to exit) to actually exit, and not just run to it, and yes even tho you can outrun the starfish and go into the little holes through the walls, it's probably harder than level 0.
    🐝 B tier - level 3 after you go through the easiest level, you are here which is harder than probably the level under level 3 combined, because ofc this entity loves to camp, like I mean it, and it's attracted to all sounds besides crouch jumping, idk why but ok and you have to find 3 keys to open the gate, and again this entity loves to camp, and is attracted to almost all sounds in the game, after you have finally you opened the gate after years you have to find these buttons just to exit, and yet again this entity loves to camp and after you have pushed all buttons and have gone to the exit door, you have to walk down these stairs and you are trying to do a challenge where you can't run, it takes a while to get down to finally exit. level 7 I put this here due to the fact you have to do an annoying puzzle to actually beat it, but as soon as you get better and better at this level, it's gonna be real easy, but back to the level, like I said after you have finished the puzzle you have to go through a maze, but it's really easy to get through the maze due to it being really small, and you have to go through these vents to get to the next part, and no you might think you can exit, NO YOU HAVE TO DO ANOTHER PUZZLE TO GET TO THE NEXT PART and after you do that, YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH ANOTHER VENT SYSTEM lucky it's short unlike the other, and all you have to do a simple step and then exit. level 11 this is proabably the hardest level in this game even if you know where to go, due to the fact that some of these jumps need some perfect timing just to land them, for an example you have to go on the back of this crate hold shift and you have to go on the egde of the first plank like no joke it's like one of the hardest jumps in this game, and there is another one where you have to fall down on this one part onto the next platform and just like last time, you need the right timing to make it, and just like level 7 there is a puzzel, but it's really easy to finish, all you have to do is find these orbs in a room and all you have to do is just count them the clostest to you to the furthest to you when you enter the room and then just enter it in a keypad and get a crowbar and use it on the door, then just put "y" doesn't matter if it's capitaliced or not, then after that you can now do the hard obby, and finally after years of doing the obby you finally make it and you just press a button and escape, it's that easy.
    A tier - level 8, now the reason I put this above level 11 is because this level is really dark, and I mean it, but again it's really easy to escape if you know where to go, but the fact that it's really dark is it's really hard to see, even with max brightness, but I would really like to see they replace the skin stealer with a smiler, because it's more fitting than the skin stealer, but yet again this entity loves to camp like in level 3. level 10 I put it here due to the fact that you have to find keys (like in level 3) to exit, and it's really scary hearing the foot steps in the background, but there is two rules in the level 1. never go in a locker with your flashlight on because it attracts one of the entites 2. the same thing as the other one but whisling, it attracts the entites in the level, unless there is another player you or the other player can distract the entites while a person gets the keys and escapes.
    S tier - level 6 ah yes, the final level it's my favortie due to the fact it's from my favorite level from the real backrooms lore, but sadly the entity in this level is the slowest entity, and you can also abuse a bug because the entity followes a path, not the player so it's really easy to escape this level.
    that's all of my tier list, I will add other levels such as level fun in the future.

    Ik like its your opinion but i would put level 6 nor level ! (Run for your life) on A instead i mean like the alarm and the environment but like the entity on it makes it why i would choose A because base on the backrooms fandom the entities or lets say a hordes of entities is chasing you i mean i like the fact they just made it big its still scary tho i do like hordes of entities chasing and for the Pool rooms (Dark version) i would put it on F ye ik its a good map but like theres no entities, there should be a lot of entities in there plus its easy to escape i do wanna like for the game has like the same work like there should be level 1 habitable zone then level 3 electrical post not just random level which is weird because it will give like a good backrooms experience since i like backrooms im a fan i do still have adjustments on those levels but its long lol but great vid i like some of it ty

    APEIROPHOBIA but without crouching ik its impossible on THE END where you need to crouch in vents and in lvl 0, 8 but you can use mobile to uncrouch in vents and youll move faster

    I didn't watch any tutorial and then just randomly tried to use what I could find but to no luck. I eventually found out how to beat the level after 2-3 hours on this level alone. ;-; on the end

    I’d say level 5 and 8 are my fav, they’re both very dark which I mostly like and it’s about finding an exi

    I’m not a big apeirophobia expert, but I have 6/8 simulation cores (maybe 7/8 but I haven’t gotten level 5’s one so who knows) so here’s my list
    Worst is level 2, bland and boring. Usually a mobile player just zooms miles ahead of you and jumps down before you even get halfway through. Before when this level has a core it was actually a little bit cool to find and gave reason to this level. I didn’t even know it was a level until later when I found out since I thought it was a transition, not level.
    Level 9 is next since it’s small, but it does have a core so yeah? Worst part is the disorienting entrance from level 8, since you have to swim up and you can barely see. Other than that it’s good 👍
    Next is level 4, it’s big and core gets me lost sometimes, nothing else to note. Just a peaceful poolrooms.
    Level 3 is here since I always lose lives here. Usually from 1-3. Door clip is very hard and annoying, so doing the whole level is a must unless you’re good at clipping. It takes a long time and the hound is very annoying since it just appears whole you’re typing in chat and you can’t crouch.
    Next is level 7. Best part about this level is the cutscene into it. It sucks, once I spent a long time doing this level with a friend but then after I had the correct code, it turned out to be wrong even though it was right. I recounted 5 times and typed the code 5 times and every time was wrong. That’s why it’s low. First puzzle is way too gruelling and slow, and you can’t even grab dice to make counting easier. You have to type in chat but then the word “green” gets hashtagged so now it’s named o. Don’t like it, but it isn’t bad.
    Next is level 0. I was playing in normal mode when the howler came right out of nowhere and chases me, but turns out it’s impossible to outrun! There is no hiding, no safe places, you just run until you can’t. Then die. I only like this level a bit because I caught the phantom smiler goofing off on the other side of a wall.
    Next is level 5. THE AMOUNT OF TIMES THE SKINWALKER HAS SCARED ME AWAY FROM THE CORE IS NUTS. It just so happens that where it spawns is right at the middle, therefore it’s either behind or in front of you. Then blocks the way like a gate in an open parking lot then runs at your face, or you run away. Only good part of this level is the exit is easy to find when you know how, old level 8 was dark and eerie, and you get an achievement for dying twice to a skinwalker.
    Next is level 1, starfish used to be annoying and bad since jumpscare was the worst and it was just a floating thing, but now it’s all slippy and sloppy and STANDS UP WHILE CHASING YOU. Combine that with terrible memory and a phantom smiler and I get pretty scared.
    Next is level 10. I got a 25 second run in this level and love how scary it is, and how goofy the phantom smiler looks from my locker while 2 titan smilers camp around me.
    LAST IS LEVEL 8. My least favourite level. Why is this 1 then? You ask yourself as you’re about to dislike. Well fear not, I have a great explanation. First is Roblox itself. Roblox horror is very mid. Ambiance isn’t there, sometimes it isn’t dark enough or too dark, or badly made, or just flashing PNG’s of sonic.exe’s face. Apeirophobia mastered it all, but level 8 is their magnum opus. It’s extremely dark, which makes it unique. Vine boom can catch you off guard and gives a few quick laughs in the horror. Once it even scared me. Next is ambiance, mastered perfectly. The groaning of the skin stealer echos in the dark and mysterious office that is level 8. You hear your heart beating and hide in a locker, only to realize that was your real heart. You come out of your hiding spot and turn the corner to see a light source coming from the end of the hall. What is that? You ask yourself as you slowly back away. Well, my doomed friend, that is the skinstealer. The groaning thing in the darkness they say. It groans and moans like it is a toddler having their phone taken away. But there is one thing that sets it apart: it’s properties. See, the skinstealer is one of the most advanced entities in the game, and the game doesn’t even tell you. It can’t see, only hear. But from a close distance, the skinstealer senses your presence and charges. Max speed. Players rarely make it out of these chases alive. Especially on hard and nightmare, where it’s even faster than titan smilers in level 10, which can easily outrun you. The only downside is that the skinstealer doesn’t turn. If the skinstealer wants to go to spawn, it will. No turning. Sucks since it can’t hear behind itself, making it easy to sidestep. The spawns of the skinstealer is very controversial, but for good reason. It likes to wander section 2 and the chair room a lot, and rarely passes by section 1. Oh yeah, have I mentioned the map? It has 3 paths to go through, depending on your situation, it has 2 sections, blocked by a chair room in the center. Skinstealer wanders these areas often. The exit is lit up, making it easier to find, and last light is red instead of green, essentially tricking the player to spend just one more second in this dangerous level. That one second could cost a life, however. As every second passes, the groaning gets louder and louder. Your heart races as your flashlight illuminates the path in front of you. You find a light, just as your heart starts beating. You explore the area and find a red light. You go to it, but then the groaning is behind you. The skinstealer is here. You bolt for the exit, making it too the ladder, but it’s too late. The skinstealer grabs you by the neck and punches you in the face. Shattering your skull. It was a good run, you say to yourself as you start another nightmare lobby hoping to get some players who’ve done daymare before. You know that is lost likely not true, but you try anyways.
    Ok that is my list, hope enjoy also you may say “why level 6 not on here” it’s because it’s overrated.
    Level ! is highly overrated in my opinion, since it’s literally a 10000m hallway with an alarm and exit signs. It’s not even that good of a liminal space. Don’t get me wrong, it is scary, but for me it’s below F tier since it’s so easy to juke and outrun. Heck, you could technically outwalk it for 10 seconds. I stayed in a corner for 10 seconds and was still miles ahead of it. It’s a good level, but I really wish the OG level was treated like level 0, lots of fam creations but it’s treated like a fancy dish.

      Skin stealer at lvl 8 is actually not deaf or blind. It sees you from pretty long distance. When i played this lvl first time i didn't saw him but he started to chase me and it took me 2 seconds to realise that im about to die. And if it starts to chase you, lockers wont help.

      @@NoName-bs2hq another thing I don’t know if I said it or not but once I was in the chair room of level 8 and I was crouching with somebody else not moving and the skinstealer just walked by. Once the skinstealer finds you, it’s basically impossible to escape since now it knows where you are somehow.

    S Tier: Level 1 is very straightforward and I am good at it so S tier (I know rigged)
    A Tier: level 6 or as i like to call it level ! has to be my favorite level in the lore of backrooms like imagine noclipping and falling into this level alarms blaring and all that I think it can be better if there are more entities chasing you really amps things up
    B Tier: level 8 it's really hard for me I can't remember one run where I didn't die in thus but the feeling you get when you finally beat it is amazing also goofy entity
    Another B tier is level 5 it's really dark at times the flashlight barely works unless to distinguish between the player and shapeshifted entity (among us reference?) And cameras work for it anyway
    C tier: level 10 it's an ok level with good entities and I think it's great for the final level (for now anyway)
    D tier: level 0 if you see the the bacteria you are dead if you see the siren you might escape pretty easy level I don't like it because its just a coin flip on if you will see the entities or not
    F tier: level 3 is just tedious not scary unless on nightmare (the entity can here you from Mars)
    F-: all the filler levels what are these doing here like it does absolutely nothing no entities barely any exploration needed unless it's for the simulation cores

    From worst to best, here's my opinion.
    1. Sublimity, Windows, Sewers.
    Just filler stuff, while it's a nice break from some of the more annoying levels, it just becomes an annoyance if you're on repeat runs. They're not BAD by any accounts, just that the lack of... anything makes them boring as hecc
    2. Cave System.
    Even on my first time playing, I wasn't scared by the entity, more annoyed about how I couldn't find the exit even though we had 4 people split-up. Hated this with a passion until I figured out the route.
    3. The Abyss.
    This is mostly here because of how underwhelming this level is. Even though there'll be more levels in the future, this is the FINAL LEVEL right now, and is just depressing. The entities have boring AI in comparison to other levels, just retracing your steps, and while, yes, this does keep you on the move and make you worry about staying in the same place too long, the way of hiding from these things is by lockers, and they just camp you for the rest of eternity if you go in one.
    That, and this thing is a game of chance, no matter how well you play, you may get screwed over by multiple fake exits. That, or you'll be out of the level in a minute.
    If this were earlier in the game, it'd be fine, but as our current final, this is just underwhelming.
    4. Poolrooms.
    While yes, this is a fair level by all accounts, there's a couple things that hold it back for me, being:
    The game gives you a dialogue indicator when the entity is first nearby, removing any chance of an ambush which would make this thing genuinely terrifying.
    The water is just a hinderance when you're not being chased. I know it's the POOL ROOMS but I genuinely cannot take any route without having to deal with the screen blur.
    Even with these gripes, the poolrooms are a fine level, just nothing standout spectacular.
    3.5?. The OLD sewers.
    On my first playthrough, this level caught me and my friends off guard, and we were wetting ourselves trying to find the exit. This level creates a tense atmosphere with the claustrophobic setting, and will make the lives of anyone who doesn't know the route miserable. I remember scrambling to get closer to the noise which the exit was emitting, and very nearly drowning before we JUST ABOUT managed to escape.
    This level nailed the feeling of running out of time, and it was great while it lasted. The only problem is that, much like most of the other levels in the game, once you know the route, this becomes a 'go this way and move on with your life' kind of level, however, it's just amplified here because there's nothing else to do or worry about. No entities or threats outside of the rising water.
    5. Lobby.
    Even though this thing is iconic, one of two things happens:
    You get constantly harassed by the entities with little-to-no wiggle room.
    You don't even see the entities once.
    This essentially turns this level into a game of chance, praying that you get lucky with no strategy behind it.
    The level also lacks any real depth, which should be expected for a starting level, of course, and for a first playthrough this thing is great, but for repeat runs, it's just you speedrunning and praying you get away.
    Even with these gripes, this level is a great introduction to the game, and has a bunch of fun easter eggs to make it enjoyable. The entities are flipping terrifying and are one of the "run for your life" type entities, making you pray that you don't cross paths with them. Hell, you can't even cheese these entities, so you get screwed if you're unfortunate enough to not find the exit ASAP.
    6. The End.
    While this is TECHNICALLY a filler level with no actual threat, I just enjoy the puzzles in this one a lot, and it's one of the levels I consistently come back to for that beginning puzzle. That, and the reading material near the end, gives you a good reason to stick around.
    Although the vent crawl is the most miserable thing in existence, the puzzles, even if the last one isn't very original, are enjoyable, and I have a great time on this level.
    7. The Office.
    On a first time playthrough, this thing was the most terrifying level ever.
    The reason this thing is so high is because of how nerve-wracking it is in SOLO play. In team-play, this is the easiest thing in existence, as your partner can just lure it for all eternity while you do all the work.
    However, in solo play, the constant dread of having the monster get too close and praying that it isn't around a corner you're going for makes this level amazing in itself. Even more, there's actual depth to this one, giving you multiple steps before you're allowed to go for the exit! The multi-step method further increases how long you have to stay in the blender with the entity, leaving even experienced players terrified of getting mauled.
    8. Lights out.
    This level, at least to me, is the scariest thing the game has to offer. The dark setting with one of the more disturbing entities in the game is what sells it for me.
    That and, if you get spotted on higher difficulties, you're done. Game over. The skin stealer chases you down and adds you to its victim pile.
    While the route is simplistic, the fact that the entity will constantly camp NEARBY the player, rather than practically on them like in The Abyss (although the skin stealer hopped in the locker with me one time), forces the player to time their movements, and not just wing it like they can in most other levels. This is only magnified by the entity spawning near the exit, forcing you to take part in this game of planning to ensure that the entity doesn't see you blazing past.
    While I'm genuinely terrified of going into this level, it's still a blast to go through, and perfectly shows Apeirophobia's emphasis on horror. However, at least for me, it pales in comparison to...
    9. Run for your life!
    Even though this thing doesn't terrify me as much as Lights Out, the adrenaline rush I get when playing Level ! never ceases to amaze me. The atmosphere is literally perfect, with the blaring alarms, claustrophobic setting with the narrow corridor and incredible amount of debris in it, and to top it all off, a TITAN smiler lumbering after you, tearing everything apart in an attempt to catch up.
    Even if the entity is slow and barely moves faster than a walking player, it constantly FEELS as if it's right behind you, with the sounds of destruction raging closer and closer as you take every twist and turn, hoping you find an exit.
    And the feeling when you accidently get stuck, even for a moment, as it moves closer every second you aren't running, gave me the biggest sense of dread I ever felt while playing this game.
    Even better, this level has a proper soundtrack, which PERFECTLY reflects the chaotic atmosphere of you having no choice but to RUN from this huge beast lumbering behind you.
    Easily my favourite level in the game, and my favourite interpretation of it to date.

It would add to the scariness of the entity right behind you. One thing I wish they would add is every entity from each level before level !. Whilst all having similar speed to the titan smiler. Would truly amazing if all entities from before level ! Join the chase among the titan smiler.

    There is actually a simulation core in level 9, but it’s pretty easy to find and if you do find it just go left of the enterance that it’s near and you’ll basically find the exit

    I played the game A lot and I also have beat it in nightmare and here's what I think
    F Tier: nothing
    D Tier: 2/9: because they are filler
    10: it's just a parking lot with a tall creepy dudes
    C tier: level 5: It was so hard for me to find the exit because I play on mobile so it's not that good, 4: it's good but it would be fire if it had monster
    B tier: level 0: its just a maze with 2 wither skeletons and it was quite challenging to find the exit, level 3: It was extremely hard for me when I played it for first time
    A tier: level 8: It was quite enjoying but i was so confused at the start, level 7: one of my favorite levels and it's the only one require good iq, level 1: it was so enjoying and I really liked it at the beginning but it's a little boring now
    S tier: level 6: It was the most fantastic and awesome level in apeirophobia and it's also one of my fav levels at the backrooms creepypasta.

    The level 10 was pretty hard
    My friend just spent literally 30 minutes in a locker because the 2 entities were camping him
    The first key I found worked on the door next to me
    1 hour of my life being purchased by one of the two (camper) entity and trying to find a key in a super big dark map
    That was not fun :/

      I spent 3 minutes in that level. I went into a random direction after being told by my friend that there are 2 big entities in this level and I found 2 lockers with the key on one of them. After that, I deadass moved 20 studs to the right and found the door to the exit. Hardest level ever

    yeah... i dont really add '!' on S more like on B because the fact u can cheat,and that its not that hard to outrun it make it too easy even while jump crouching to the spot where u can cheat it you can survive if the entity was SAME speed as you when you 'walk' and 'sprint' would have made it more difficult because any errors would make u be unable to repair it and would add more tension because if not in the end you have like 10 secs of spare time watching it coming before leaving

    Imo they put these levels with nothing to do like 2 and 4 to give more immersion, after all it's not all levels of the backrooms that have entities or are dangerous, and these empty levels give a little more immersion for those who know the new backrooms "the one formed by levels that the game is inspired in"

      and level 7. level 7 is the worst out of all 17, mark my words.
      first puzzle is ok until a random dodecahedron appears in the worst possible spot
      and the 2nd puzzle
      it takes a half hour, and its FULLY RNG.
      also in between you're forced to crouch, which takes forever.

    Pool rooms is the worst level because the monster always camps the exit or the entrance meaning the only way to win is to keep someone at the entrance and to get them to continuously whistle to get the monster to stay at the entrance so someone can get all the valves

    unpopular opinion alert:
    *F tier*:
    level 0 The lobby (terrible for newcomers who will slowly take their time exploring the map and get punished for trying to enjoy the atmosphere, entire gameplay is either get out in the first 30 seconds or die to an entity you have no possible way of outrunning or hiding from [unless you have gamepasses], only good for speedrunners, it does have a good amount of content though and that's the only thing i'm giving it)
    Level 12 Creative minds (mainly bad due to where it's placed, it can work well as a rest level but nobody needs rest after level 11, it has a good atmosphere but i really think it would have worked if it had an entity, the red lights feel like such a fake out considering the scare they give you the first time, you can tell that i'm going very easy on it [mainly because i don't personally have any problems with the level], it's possible it deserves the D rank instead because it's pretty short and doesn't affect the game's quality the way level 0 does)
    *D tier*:
    level 2 The Windows (really good atmospherically but i must take off my bias glasses, all you do on it is walk forward, it works really well as a rest level, which is it's purpose, there really isn't much to say about this level, so moving on)
    Level 9 Sublimity (second worst of the rest levels, it's dark and might make you feel unsafe due to it's hostile appearance, which works for this game, but it lacks anything meaningful to do, the exit is found super quickly and there literally isn't anything special about the level even if you take the time to explore it)
    *C tier*:
    Level 4 The Sewers (old version was better IMO, but it's a great place to put a rest level, i do remember newcomers struggling alot with the previous level 4 which makes this a sensible reason to fully change it, it's a similar idea to level 9, safe enviroment that feels hostile, but you actually walk around alot looking for an exit, and there's stuff to see and explore that's not just a simulation core)
    Level 10 The Abyss (the most average entity level, idea is simple, a bit tricky to understand, a bit boring, entities are fine and they work, though being punished for entering lockers is a weird rule, atmosphere is good, map is different and unique, the feeling of being vulnerable is pretty effective, overall, not too good, but not bad either)
    Level 5 Cave Sytem (i honestly have no idea where to place this, i learned how to speedrun this level before it got nerfed so i don't know how the new experience is, original level 5 was an easy S tier for me, masterfully crafted level, but with the addition of lights i assume the scare is dumbed down by alot, doesn't stop it from being good though, i only know that people don't seem scared by the entity here anymore when before they seemed terrified of it, hope it's still close to the absolute fear it was for new comers pre nerf though [also fun fact: the camera was genuinely useful in that level because it actually worked better than the flashlight for seeing, and that was really really cool)
    *B tier*:
    none of the game's levels are B tier for me
    *A tier*:
    Level 1 The Poolrooms (while in the previous tiers i was ranking from worst to best in that tier, for this and S tier i'm not actually ranking them in any particular order, it can go either way, awesome second level, incredibly unique and well designed entity, introduces you to several important mechanics [like the flashlight, water, objectives, how to avoid an entity, etc] good atmosphere, looks very very nice, the tension of hunting and opening valves without knowing if patrick is closing in on you, the tension of falling in water and having to swim while also being unsure if you even can at first [it feels like there's a mechanic in this level where you're intentionally pulled down and will struggle to get in the air when you get in the water, to add to the panic of running from patrick while having to take a dip in water that will surely slow you down, overall i can't say enough, this level is really solid)
    Level 3 Abandoned Office (i'm not going to repeat what everyone said because i agree, i only feel like it's a bit dragged especially for later playthroughs)
    Level 11 ForgotIt'sName (i do agree, it's atmosphere and enviroment feels pretty bland and uninspired [they really could have gone a long way with a different color palette] but it wears the disguise of a second level 7 well until it hits, the parkour section is scary and has plenty of intense moments, the layout is confusing and can easily make you panic when you realize you've gone the wrong way and must backtrack through those dangerous jumps again, i will only say that i think the level might be a bit too punishing)
    *S TIER*:
    Level 6 !!! (the most intense level! several minutes of non stop panicking running from a titan smiler in an incredibly intense enviroment, with amazing atmosphere and obstacles that you are unsure if you can even pass them, confusing layout, some say the entity is too slow for this level and i disagree, i think the point of this level isn't to be fast, it's to not lose your cool, if you panic and lose control of yourself you'll get stuck and not realize where to go, and before you realize it, the smiler has already caught up and killed you)
    level 8 Lights out (the sound design and feeling of loniliness is really well done, the entity is terrifying, the locker mechanic truly shines here when it felt a bit weird that it even existed in level 3 and in level 10 is outright kills you, i really like the feeling of a darker and more evil level 3, in this situation i feel the reuse of the same enviroment works, when it didn't work for the several poolrooms and level 11, similar to the poolrooms, i really can't give this level enough credit for what it is)
    level 7 The End (if you thought that a backrooms game would be about running from entities and nothing else then this level is here to be a pleasant surprise, with actually pretty cool puzzles, has a really nice look and atmosphere, is surprisingly fun and relaxing, and prepares you very well for the nightmare that is level 8, i wish i had more to say to give more credit but i don't, it's just really good)

    This my opinion.
    F tier: Level 9 (Sublimity)
    You spawn underwater, you can drown.
    D tier: Level 8 (Lights Out) and Level 5 (Cave System)
    It’s really annoying because of the monsters in this level. They’re both really dark so you cant see anything.
    C tier: Level 2 (The Windows)
    Same opinion as yours.
    B tier: Level 4 (The Sewers) Level 10 (The Abyss)
    Level 4 is the same opinion as yours. Level 10 however, is actually really scary. You here loud thuds which are the monsters footsteps. It is really annoying though that they camp when your in a locker.
    A tier: Level 0 (The Lobby) Level 3 (Abandoned Office) Level 1 (The Poolrooms)
    Same opinion as yours.
    S tier: Level 6 (Run for your life) Level 7 (The End?)
    Level 7 is my 2nd favorite level because I also like doing puzzles. However, the first time I saw it, I was very confused and asked for help. When I watched a tutorial, it helped me get to the next level. Level 6 is my favorite level of all of the levels. Same opinion as yours.

    Ranking lvls that is hard to me.
    S:lvl 8
    A: lvl 3 , lvl 10
    B:lvl 0,
    Lvl 5 can be or tiet B or C .
    C:lvl 6, lvl 1 .
