Man i wish I could agree with you when you say most people aren't toxic on this game. I've been playing off and on since the day it came out. It has always been VERY toxic for me especially in the dz. You get the occasional nice guy but usually that's when I'm matchmaking for a mission or something

My experience with this game over the past few years is that the community was largely positive. People looking to help other players and make connections in order to grow the community and help the game survive. It’s probably one of the reasons I stuck with the game as long as I did. Well past the point of being bored with it.
PvP players are the worst in Div 2 in a community which is otherwise really good. Massive should focus on more co-op with a new incursion or raid in the upcoming DOC and bury PvP content as much as possible.

I farm in the DZ all the time, I hear this sort of stuff all the time… there is the option to mute/block certain players if you click on social, then on their user name if you want. After a while I’ve discovered that there are many many people with mental health issues/impairments or even with sociopathic tendencies etc, so don’t take them too seriously Kami.

Not caring at all I replied "This lobby is not special and neither are you, sit down. I'll find another one." So he kicked me and I found another one. And I'm not afraid to name names. This is the 99% of pvp players. Also the reason I never do pvp in any game if i can avoid it that is, and because of these toxic pvp players I quit the game because they got weapon destroyed because it dropped from the raid back then, it’s just sad.

I was playing yesterday, put out a post trying to get the exotic rifle in iron house raid meet these group of people and one had the meanest attitude plus guy wanted to speed run without picking up any keys

I’ve come across at least 20 players this week that doesn’t like you they say you steal builds promote and create annoying metas there’s truth to it ruining the game with other creators but I can care less
Yeah I really love this game, I used to play it daily and team up with guys that helped me with builds, general game knowledge. But man, there were so many toxic guys, I just stopped playing.
I’ve played for 4 years, and I find the main game is toxic free, filled with really cool and lovely people…because the focus is on cooperation….the PVP side is filled with assholes, just like the vast majority of games where the focus is PvP.
I’ve read on Reddit that there’s another ps player that does the same thing. Will talk crap about your fun, build, and your gameplay. I mute players and block them. Some people were just never held as a kid.

Was in a raid once, a guy was just cursing and dogging on everyone. I was kinda standing there amazed, and suddenly it was just me and him. Everybody dropped, I of course immediately did too, but just kinda sat there amazed for awhile. That's happened to me 2 times in 5-6 years. The community is SO MUCH BETTER THAN THAT.
Don't avoid doing something just because others might have something to say. It's true, you can't teach certain folks... These are the types you simply want to mute and ignore. Doing so will actually drive them crazy, as they're just crying for attention. That's all it is.
A lot of the people on PC I conflict with (I've got more time in conflict than even pve) are very nice and friendly. We'll occasionally trash talk, but nothing rising to the level of this kind of toxicity; but I know there's a bunch.
There's a lot of this in the DZ. Especially when they lose. I had 1 guys join my group in Summit yesterday. One guy, out of nowhere starts trash talking the other. Of course he thought it was me. Lol
