No way they trade DAVID SAVARD right now, at the end of the season he will be worth a lot more.
At the end of the season his contract will be over
I don't see the Habs trading Savard right now. They have very little experience on the blueline as it is.
Unfortunately Xavier and Reid Shaffer have both already traded. I would love Savard on the Oilers but the prospect pool is pretty empty in Edmonton. Maybe Lavoie.
As an Edmontian an Oiler fan, I am delighted with what they have added to the forwards. ...Also happy that goaltending has now been solidified as to who is 1,2 and 3....And that they found a way to find a new home for Soupy...(it was a $5 MILLION distraction..I wish him the best)......BUT....On the blueline. (a very underated blue line if you go by analytics and playoff success AFTER Knoblach and Coffey showed up).....BUT positions 5,6 and 7?...Ceci, Desharnais and Broberg OUT.....Edmerson? Stecher and Brown? ...IN....Is that really a big improvement? .....Time will tell. ...But I wouldn't be surprised if Bowman makes another move for a D-man.
Oilers will have trouble making playoffs with the current defensive core
Legorocks99 FAKE NEWS!!😂😂😂
Sure you can trade Savard. Montreal isn't close to trying to win yet. He's not that good. If your young highly touted prospects aren't better than him in a year or two that's a problem of its own.
Bourgault and Reid Schaffer aren’t with the oilers. Reid hasn’t been for over a year and a half
