These videos are so useful for me as an about 15-20 kyu player. It's really difficult to find decent teaching material besides the basic beginners guides, and for me personally watching analysis of pro games is just not informative. It's often like "yes this move is obviously good for black" or "white is a little better in this position" but to me it's not obvious at all, I just don't understand. These low level but not completely newbie kind of materials are really missing and this channel has some of the best.
30-20 Kyu mistakes: -Hane at the wrong side 0:43 -Do not make large enclosure when you are weak 3:20 19-10 Kyu: -Do not attack when you are not settled 5:35 -Making the wrong extension along the side 7:16 9-1 Kyu: -Do not make indecisive moves 8:59 -Do not make risky invasions 10:45 1-4 Dan: -Making the wrong attacking move 12:27 -Do not help your opponent in a fight 16:03

great lessons with great explanations. thank you so much for each mistake :)
Love these Mistakes videos.
I'm pretty sure I made all 8 of these mistake in one game once. And I still won...
Kyu games are weird.
Kyu rank could represent the number of mistakes that you make. If you are 8kyu, you make these 8 types of mistakes :)
Why doesn’t black just connect the horizontal spaces straight across and make a wall? Won’t he still be ahead of white?
I like the intro xd
