My dad was sick for over 6 years from when I was only about 9 and saw him go through pain every day. I was glad in a way that when he died he would be in peace finally and he will be looking over me from his passing.. pray my brother he will still be looking over you when he gets peace. Stay strong. But you may have grief much later when he passes on. I felt numb for about 10 years and grief hit me in the form of depression.. I am 48 years old now and with the help of my dad in heaven , I have come out the other side to light. Pray to God and Jesus and you will be fine. Regards Biagio

I have never dealt with serious depressions but i sometimes have the feeling i dont have control over my life and there where multiple occasions where i was about to write my last words to my best friend, and also one time i was in hospital for overdosing iboprofen and i do think music helped me a lot. When i listen to music i can let go everything i hold back while being surrounded by others as to i cant really show emotions and rather tend to be known as cold-hearted and a little autistic, too. Two days ago i had to go to the doctor for a vaccination and after that i could not move my arm for the rest of the day. I was getting panic attacks all day knowing that i was helpless and did not have the energy to move my arm so listening to sad music helped me get through this rather small problem which caused me a lot of mental trouble. As a very musical person too i just randomly start singing sometimes and there are quite a few pics of me on my phone when i randomly start crying cus of a sad song that brings sad memories up in me but somehow this makes me feel that i am still a person with feelings and that i am not as cold as everyone thinks of me.

The first time I heard this song I cried I'm not lying there were tears in my eyes. It felt like the song was about youth? There's something about this song, it's so familiar. It reminds me of all the hardships that we've ALL been through this year. The wildfires, the pandemic, police brutality, SO many things have happened in only 6 months. Personally, I'm struggling to come to terms with my identity. It's okay to feel sad, frustrated, mad, anything really. I think we all thought this year would be one of the best years, as it's 2020, and frankly, it's one of the worst. Whatever you're going through, know that it'll get better. You WILL get through this year, I believe in you.
