I did something similar with the headlights but with some changes. I used the packaging plastic as well but I did a layer of black over a layer of dense yellow so it’s shiny yellow from the front and black whenever you see it from the back. That boot mod is way outta my wheelhouse though😹
Dipping it in boiling water works pretty well, then to cool if you put it in ice water
I'd buy tiny metal chains to replace the plastic chains 😅😅 but this is one great mod for the quick and cheap.
I need to start looking for a source for handicraft chains

Always appreciate when people try to help others. You don’t have to do all that for the bike eyes though. Throw a post-it the color of your choice on the rear of the bike front and you’re done. It has the adhesive already so it’s as simple as can be. You can even change the color to be either yellow, orange or teal like on the front cover of Ghost Rider #1.

Torch is not even available at retail on this side of the world yet. I got this crimson guard on clearance for less than $15 so it was an easy choice

On the height, I think it's due to him not having any flesh so his height is greatly reduced in skeleton-on-fire mode 😂😂

The hasbro team also felt like they made Johnny too tall… so they scaled down Danny for whatever reason 😭💀

I love how you've edited it, but it's so annoying you have to add the details to get it the way it should be anyways, but incredible job
I plan on copying your mods when mine arrives. One change I think I may do is use G.I. Joe Classified Dreadnok Torch’s boots rather than the Crimson Guard. His are actual motorcycle boots and are also taller like the Siegie’s.
Good luck with that - I've no idea if the peg sizes match, but can't be hard to fix. Torch hasn't even arrived in my area, much less for clearance
Looks awesome with the new mods, brother! I was thinking of the same thing for the bike eye plate, but was considering the possibility 🤔 of hitting the clear plastic with an orange sharpie before applying the tape, just to add a bit of an orange-yellow flaming effect to match the flames and wheels a bit more... still not sure, but planning to do a little experiment to test the idea and see how I feel about the look, before permanently attaching the plate covers.
I still need to track down the boots to correct his height though.
As for the chains, I may hit them with a slight black wash for effect, but I've already made a posable metal chain ⛓️, with a thin wire run between some of the links, for him that can be posed to various effect... at some point, I plan to use colored yellow and orange heat glue to make a flaming effect that can be added onto the chain.

Blaze's boots doesn't have swivel, unless cut it off and modify it.

I'm going to do the boot swap I already painted the chain and put some yellow plastic from from safety glasses on to the yellow motorcycle for the eyes
I think the boots from the GI Joe Classified Cobra Officer would work better. the pockets and the angled bit kinda look odd. The Spikes would fit better and higher on the Officer boots.
The officer boots aren't tall enough and don't give him a height boost at all. U can do it, but he'll be similarly short

To be fair, the retro spidey mold is a bad comparison, that mold makes spidey bigger than he is, put him up against cap, cyke, iron man, doom, thor, etc, he scales well

@@joebean1030 even then, there's no documented media iirc that shows he grew from 5'11 or 5'10 or whatever to more later on in life, as far as we know he's been 5 foot 11 ever since Amazing Fantasy 15 or smth
the scaling is complicated for spidey, even the actual animated series spidey uses the AF15 mold, and the civvie Peter Parker is taller than that mold but shorter than RYV
