Can anyone explain why advanced JP users use the fireball feint (fake) all the time? I get it to bait a jump but seems to be used in situations where they can’t jump

To bait parry and make the enemy lose OD meter. If the hold parry it is a free grab, too.

To touch on what the person above said, as you grow as a player, you'll see the value in viewing the OD meter as a second kind of health bar of your opponent's that there is value in dealing "damage" to as well.
Having your opponent burned out is beneficial for the entire cast, but it's of particular benefit for a character like JP, because the same pressure some characters need to be close to apply to a burned out opponent, JP can apply from full screen, getting all the benefits of chip.
This makes people want to parry JP even more to maintain their OD meter, which makes the feint an even stronger tool.

Also ppl in lower ranks use wake up amesia as a dp to much that's why they get blown up u should use in more in my opinion as a counter to a attack u know that's coming

I'm not advanced but I do it to change up the timing of my fireballs because they have predictable timing when just spamming them. Feints end faster so you can train the opponent to learn fireball spam timing and then throw feints in to change the timing.

All of the above is true, and I’ll also mention that fireball feints add a layer to your opponent’s mental stack. They don’t know what you’re going to do and it’s a lot to look at, so it can freeze them and/or force bad decisions made in panic.
