Yes, she betrayed Aria by sending those tickets to Ella, but instead of listening to Hanna's reasoning about it, Aria shut her out and immediately got angry with Hanna, knowing that A was trying to pit them against each other. Yet, she still didn't hear Hanna out and started ignoring her and saying smart remarks about her before finally forgiving her. So with Hanna, it's understandable since Aria did the same thing to her.
Please !! I agree that the moral compass of the liars' has always been a bit sketchy, but I for one loved this arc and showdown with Aria. She has always been the most selfish liar of the lot who will lose no time to save Ezra/her family over her friends' tragedies. I think AD might have picked her precisely knowing if there was one liar who would jeopardize the other liars for their partner/family , it was Aria. Remember when she was being such an annoying bitch to be around when she killed Shana and the epic time when she stopped Mike from helping Hanna out of prison even when he himself had the balls to man up and help Hanna .. She didn't give a rat's ass about Hanna rotting in prison and was more intent on saving Mike to the point of it being downright disgusting. Also , notice the series carefully and you will find that she puts spending time with Ezra more than finding A several times . Ezra and her wouldn't even be doing some important shit, they would just be lazing around together when the other liars would be working their ass off to put off A.. Spencer gets on my nerve sooo much. Every time I rewatch pll (and its like the 6th or 7th time now) she drops down further to the list of my least favorite characters. Aria had no choice, they all would’ve done the same if they were in her place, in fact, they all already did horrible things to one another to protect themselves / someone they love. If you really look into the friendships of the liars, they were all toxic af. Mona and Ali were the only real ones, because they never tried to justify their bad actions, they stood to it and presented themselves as who they were. Hannah gives the tickets in the first season when they were all still keeping secrets. As they grow older they realize that secrets divide them and they tell each other everything, just as Emily says. Spencer also put Toby above in the first seasons but later she was loyal to her friends because she really learned. But Aria to the end put Ezra above everything, even when she was already with the boy from Boston. So there is no hypocrisy here.

Spencer gets on my nerve sooo much. Every time I rewatch pll (and its like the 6th or 7th time now) she drops down further to the list of my least favorite characters. Aria had no choice, they all would’ve done the same if they were in her place, in fact, they all already did horrible things to one another to protect themselves / someone they love. If you really look into the friendships of the liars, they were all toxic af. Mona and Ali were the only real ones, because they never tried to justify their bad actions, they stood to it and presented themselves as who they were. So no, Aria doesn't exactly have a choice in this situation....

Hanna has involved Caleb in A business multiple times when she was not supposed to (least serious offense honestly). Emily chose Sara over Hanna when she ditched Hanna. They were supposed to go to school together after the doll house (all of them ditched her). Aria chose Ezra over them in this scene. I can't think of any for Alison though.
Y’all defending aria like she isn’t the most selfish person on the show. She’s literally always playing victim and chasing after her damn teacher which is still so creepy to me then you try and ruin your friends lives to protect the same man you were ready to get arrested girl grow up. I don’t care what y’all say she’s the worst one out of all of them. Even when the other girls are backed in a corner they try to protect their friends while she always puts herself and her interest before them.

roter13 It come to that point when your significant other did commit an actual felony , he did pretty on her , but she chose to betray her friends who were there for her when she was heartbroken because of the book. If Ezra went to jail or goes he deserves to be there.
i agree. I have been saying since day 1 that I find their relationship disgusting but for that point to come up now that they are about to get married seems kind of dumb.

Hannah gives the tickets in the first season when they were all still keeping secrets. As they grow older they realize that secrets divide them and they tell each other everything, just as Emily says. Spencer also put Toby above in the first seasons but later she was loyal to her friends because she really learned. But Aria to the end put Ezra above everything, even when she was already with the boy from Boston. So there is no hypocrisy here.
