In Vietnam, my wife used to drop trash where she stood without any thought while I look at her shocked. Now While living in US she pretty much stopped and now scolds me when I “accidentally” drop trash 😊
Wow Chris you are in the are where i was staying and walking every day 🙂 It's not expensive, it's not jamed have space same like western city's, it's not to far from D1, have Lotte Mart near, have swimming pool (sky garden) not so far. That is why i like to stay there 😁
Phu My Hung in District 7 is the nicest area of Saigon, IMO. Has everything bars, restaurants, shopping you name it and plenty to do, no need to ever go to Dist. 1 or 3.
I really appreciate the little helpful hints you give for surviving the transfer over to living in Vietnam. Example from this video is the balcony aircon making the balcony pretty much to hot for sitting outside. Good to know.............
that's basically the Hollywood Hills of Saigon.. very quiet, very expensive but also very nice place to live if affordable.. many owned by Viet Kieu in the states who have bought it as their retirement/summer or winter home... and alot of Rich Koreans around there too...
Hey Chris how do you get around from one district to another district when your walking round are making the videos do you use a grab or a taxi or do u just walk from 1 district to another for hours
Can u do a pricing vlog, scooter, massage, food etc but say Australian prices as i think most of us are Aussies i see are Subs. I you use to give warren mclean ideas he use to use in his balilifeme vlogs but saddly he died last year of cancer and covid... look at some of his vlogs.. how to use an atm & are they safe. How to catch a taxi. Best u look at a few of the vlogs
What a good walk! I like the walk, and talks, very interesting to see the Saigon districts in all its daily stuff. The new buildings seem a little up each others ass. I am from N.Y.C. now in Jersey at the shore.!5 yrs. in the city, Finally, got tired of the crime, and grime! From your walks it is weird to see the upper mid folks piling in, its the beginning of the end, at least here it was. Inland here was all agriculture, farms, horses, and corn. Then an exodus of city rich companies bought out all the farms. and parceled the shit out of the towns with heavy cash. The average guy is gone Eventually the small stores will be gone too! dog eat dog! Living simple ain't so simple. Peace bro!
@@sebastiangeorge7714 Yea thats what I was thinking also, But still a cool thought to cover some ground in back alleys and sidewalks but it seems like they block them with scooters and stuff.
@@joewilke3092 I walked a lot for the first times and later rentet/bought a scooter to cover grounds I was somewhat familiar with. You could take the public bus thats quite the experience 😉.
If you want to learn to speak Viet, you already have the best teacher right there with you. Your beautiful wife should be able to teach you basic conversational Vietnamese. And, the price is right. LOL!
Nice...food vendors with carts next to the city dump sites. Come and eat it’s very delicious and cheap. Yes...I agreed with you about the mindset of the @verage Vietnamese about trashing the country.

Very good video.
It was nice to see you relax a little at the cafe. Might be better if you filmed a bit longer in the cafe.
Thanks
What would a unit cost to rent in D7?
I live in SAIGON Vietnam, I'm a RUclips man, I can go with him to film, because I know a lot of kids who are left behind, everyone can watch.
I saw Saddam making the sauce in the back, Got dang Iraqis and their hussein sauces😂
I think it may be fun to get a Mtn. bike an explorer back alleys like that, but I wouldn't like to ride a bike in the traffic though. Great vid!!
I doubt someone would enjoy that 😄. But there is a RUclipsr doing that in Da Nang.
Bicycles are quiet low it the traffic hiracy.
