- In a significant escalation of tensions, Hezbollah launched drone strikes targeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea, while also firing numerous rockets into northern Israel. Although Netanyahu was not present during the attack, the incident marks a serious security breach. Israel reported intercepting two of three drones from Lebanon and countering 55 rocket launches. At least 13 people in northern Israel suffered injuries from the attacks.

I would guess tthat, showing restraint, Hizballah chose to target the home of Netanyahu that they knew he would NOT be in -- as a warning: we know your addresses, and we can reach you if we want.
Also, having destroyed entire villages in Lebanon, Israel should now expect the same -- not in retaliation per se (Hizballah has shown itself to be above that and to value human life, unlike Israel which today values only Jewish lives) but, rather, in an attempt to make Israelis understand that Lebanese lives have the same value as Israelis, and that Israel cannot disregard the laws of war and humanitarian law without repercussion ... even if the ICJ, the UN, and the ICC don't / can't enforce these laws. Israel chooses time and time again not to avoid civilian casualties but instead to revel in them. :(
