I don’t really care much about jewelry but I LOVE anything shiny!!😂. I like looking at them anyway and seeing how they’re made. I am beginning to make bracelets though. I love the last pair of earrings you have plus your bracelets are both pretty. Earrings kind of like an American Indian vibe. Would match well with my moccasins.😁
I like the style of the bracelets ❤ I wash used jewelry like washing dishes or I put in the washing machine. It won’t hurt the jewelry. And I don’t know where the jewelry’s been😝lol
Unlike clothing, unless the beads are wrapped with fabric or mesh, they’re not absorbent. Many are coated such as pearls and those with an AB or other finish and could get damaged if washed aggressively. And, there’s the string to consider. Getting the string wet can weaken it. For me, a damp wipe is fine. If you like to wash your jewelry like washing dishes, have at it. On a lighter note, do you wash new shoes before you wear them? One never knows whose feet (or socks) have walked in them. Lol.
I made one today, first time working with this kind of wire. I've been making jewelry for decades, never used this kind of wire. I've done lots of bead weaving, tedious work!!! But this idea is so easy and fast and it worked so well!! My first piece is gorgeous!!!! I wish I could post a picture on here:/ Thanks for this really simple idea!!!!
Shop towels. They come in large boxes. Any of the staff at a hardware store, should know if you ask for a box of shop towels. There are different brands per store. They are disposable. Hope that helps.
The affiliate link, along with all the others, is below the video under “more” as mentioned in the video. Here’s the link for my wire. Stringing Wire 49-Strand .018" (.46mm) Diameter 30ft/Pkg-Bright: amzn.to/3HkUoLJ Hope that helps and thanks!

When I close my jumper rings, I like to close them and then close it oval so that the opening is in the middle of the jumper ring that way the string or whatever you’re using doesn’t come through
I had to think about my reply on this one. If that’s what you like to do, it’s not my place to dispute. I will say, though that it’s not a standard look and could perhaps weaken the metal. Even with memory wire, as hard as it is, if it’s overworked, it can break. Personally, I would be hesitant to squash my jump ring into an oval shape. If it’s a well-made, jump ring and closed properly, the wire or string should not come through. Not all jump rings are made alike. In this video, I used jump rings that my husband Mark made and thicker in gauge. Thanks.
