Hi Julian, thanks for your video! Seeing that you gave an example using 'page_view', does this mean that all automatically collected events and enhancement events have to be manually set up in server side tracking?
Hi, it seems in the last half year GTM has done away with the option "send to server container" leaving me unable to test the preview? I am lost as to how to continue now and/or where a link with the container is made.
Does this decrease the amount of tags on your actual site? If you had so many tags that it slows down your website when installed normally, would server side reduce the data transferred on page load as seen in the developer tools?
Julian, in view of the current privacy issues, do you believe that web tracking will be discontinued and we will only have server-side tracking? Do you believe that today is it possible, in Google case, uses only server-side tracking not to use web track? something that is not on the server-side will disappear?
Very nice video (as always). If i understand correctly, in this setup, you still need to have client-side tracking so it redirects to server-side. this would mean 2 containers 1 for each tracking type. Is that correct or can there be a 100% server side tracking in place ?

If you want to be GDPR compliant you have to otherwise you risk a lot of money

What happens if the GTM code is blocked by the brower? will it still send data to the Server container?

Same here! It made me add a url but then took away the sandbox version, so now I'm confused as well
You can find the sandbox when clicking on the GTM-XXXXXXX container name. It should open again.

In Chrome just right click the tab and click add to group you can then give it a name and color

short answer: No. You can't use GTM Server Side without having web tags installed.
