There's one cool aspect of Jun's gameplay that no one talks about. In fact, Jun is a very safe character, by the most part. You can use her izumo strings and not only them with no risk whatsoever. The thing is that u can hit confirm all of her strings, and it's pretty easy to do. All her two-hit strings are highly delayable, and they are all natural on hit even after the delay. A good example is her f3,4. This string is very underrated and very useful at the wall. If u do only f3, you are safe at -9 on block. If u hit confirm the follow-up with a delay, it gives you a very good wall splat and combo. Her strings like f3,2 or 4, b2,2, b2,1, b4,2, ff2,2, ff2,3, IZU 3,2, ff2b or f, 1,1,2 on CH, 1,2u or d and Izumo 1,1 are all hit confirmable
This stance has won me so many matches due to the amount of variations it has, it's like she's a Mishima with all those 50/50, great video on the izumo stance. As always I leave my like, keep it up Pssms 😼
Secret tip.. try triple tapping any directional button during izumo.. u can cancel out of the standard options and use everything else. So for instance if u want to use the old ttt2 extensions… do bbb+3 , or ddd+3+4 etc, or fff+1+3 for standard throws ..I love the standard izumo gameplan, but if opponent starts guessing the standard izumo options, I switch to this immediately .. always catches them off guard
@@Kurea_Ryou you're welcome, I doubt anyone discovered this yet, as its not in the standard movelist. It takes a bit of practice for moves to come out fast, the most consistent way for me is begin cancelling before the izumo animation completes, and to add one more directional button, i.e, 4 taps of any directional button, while izumo animation is still halfway(no need to do this for the f+1 mid izumo variant, the cancel already comes out fast/instant), for standard high izumo, you can do bbbb+3 early, it should come out instantly. also, if you are going into izumo from f+3,2, you can also hold down 3 and buffer it, then add 4, for the old can can (d3+4) - e.g f+3,2 ( go into izumo) + hold down 3, start cancelling during izumo by tapping ddd+4, and the old can can will come out after it. if you want to see how it looks like, i cant post a link here as youtube has an auto filter to remove comments with video links, you can click on my profile to see the videos, i have made it public. There's a lot of potential application, you can also do rage art, or heat smash out of it, which is typically impossible under izumo. I've also shown that if you do it fast enough, izumo cancel into 1,1 can be looped, it’s hard but not impossible. You can either loop 1,1 on it’s own, which starts at 10f, ending in 0 frame on block, then back into 1,1 making it a safe loop, or cancel the high f3,2 izumo variant into 1,1 neutral, putting you back into izumo again. its a fast and safe 10f high mid option, compared to the standard izumo 1,2 ( 13f high, mid - unsafe). The cancel is versatile as Jun has no low crush options out of izumo, doing the cancel grants you access to b+3, uf+4,3, d3+4 etc, all these low crushes reliably and launches opponent out of izumo. Unfortunately, you can't access falling rain directly, only neutral or aerial moves out of the izumo cancel, but you can cancel into dick jab into falling rain.
Your tutorial have been very helpful to me. They're very well done and easy to understand, in a way that very few tutorial videos are, not just for this game. It shows that you're very knowledgeable in the character. So I just wanted to say thanks for sharing your knowledge. The only thing that I would like is if you would allow a little bit more time to read the comment/commands(usually I have to set speed to 0.75 to be able to read) before going to the next note.
Thank you for watching! When I proof watch my videos, I can see what you mean. It doesn’t feel like that when I am editing lol I will keep in mind for the next videos!
Been stuck with Jun since i used her Ranked Her combo string is easier to learn and to adapt The key of most of her combo was Perfecting you izumo stance But the most hardest thing will happen when using her is When your opponent know how Jun plays even when a mirror match Your opponent will guaranteed block most of Jun moves because her stance are predictable after a rematch
Tbh I find that one look awkward for a transition but I wouldn’t oppose to it. They are probably going to give her new stance transitions in the upcoming seasons!
U can already go into miare from b+2 1, then transit to izumo quickly. It heals 2 health too. I won’t use it frequently since it has lost its purpose in combos
izumo - 1 then 2 should have been 12 frame punish on that on block most of her block punishable moves are 13 frames Also 122 is delayable a littlebit needs precise timing
I meant the stance transitions on block. Like f+3,2. You can duck the second hit if you block the first hit. The wording might be confusing, I agree lol
Hello! I know that 10 minutes video is already long enough for explaining just one stance but it would be better if you hold on your explanations a bit longer cuz I rather have to go back to read them again or pause the video each 2 seconds.
Someone also mentioned it and I understand, I will keep in mind for my next guides! I will keep the descriptions longer on screen. I haven’t played Jun ranked since July, it is due time for some ranked videos. Now that I am done with stance guides, I can play and dust off my Jun lol Thank you for watching, it means a lot! 🫡

In Jun mirrors, this is the best stance against me because I fall for the hellsweep/mid mix-up all the time 💀 Thank you for watching!

It’s easier to cancel with the f+1 izumo variant, you can pretty much use anything out of it ruclips.net/video/90ULtXCxKB8/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Bro you doing gods work here.
Helpful video, & I love the old T2 music!
Thanks! It is my go-to music for Jun guides
Same, love T2 Jun theme.
The thing about Jun is that it's hard to make people duck at a high level. They're just waiting for that juicy hellsweep lol
Couldn’t be me lol I fall for Izumo 2 all the time because I am always expecting that juicy hellsweep
High-Level/Experienced players don't even know the matchup lol. I had mine punished with a dickjab😅
@@tonisnooker fr. The stance transitions can be easily 1 2-ed lol
Thank you for the huge tip, I'm actually maining Jun for awhile and she's fun, I got good results on my local tournaments with this character
Congrats on your results! Hope these vides will help you further on your journey. ^

Thank you so much, jun is my forever main and i just learned about izumo f1+2 😂
I hope they bring back her izumo from B+2 1 which is a highly used move in tag 2

what is the song? it seems familiar but i cant remember it. lmao help
It is Jun’s theme from Tekken 2! It should be called ‘Morning Field’ iirc
izumo - 1 then 2 should have been 12 frame punish on that on block most of her block punishable moves are 13 frames

0:39 that stance cannot be launched on block lol. You just said it's +6 on block

I’m a TK Jun main and I think Izumo should’ve been a mid.
Would be too powerful
@@blackheart59_ with all the op chars and BS in 8. I think Izumo being a mid would've been right at home with the other T8 nonsense
