Hey guys! I did miss ‘You Never Know’, so sorry about that, not sure how I did. But don’t worry, I’ve reacted to it and it is coming up soon :) Much love, Ross 🤟❤️
When "Pink Venom " was released, there were quite a few fans who disliked the anti drop and the minimal chorus. If you ever have a chance to watch B.P.M. (Born Pink Memories released by the girls to allow us to watch them on their world tour) which also documents their behind the scenes of their latest album, the first episode of BPM is titled "Pink Venom is not Bad" as an apparent address to those who didn't like the song. It is definitely a grower and I look forward to your revised rankings.
Looking forward to seeing this album unfold into your list. The b-sides are fire. "The Happiest Girl" (even though it's technically a cover) might be my all time fav BlackPink song.
The instrument Jisoo is playing is a geomungo. It is traditional Korean instrument from the 4th century AD. Jisoo took lessons to learn how to play it! Shut Down MV should be next. It was released after Pink Venom. Thanks.
Always love your reactions to BLACKPINK. I know you rank on first listen but I think the whole song including the anti-chorus will grow on you. My 1st reaction was similar to yours but it grew on me a lot! (Yes, it was Jisoo actually playing the traditional Korean instrument; check out the Making Video for more and interesting info.)
When I watch this video I realize how much I love kpop! I actually loved Pink Venom as a comeback! This song and this video are simply perfect. Then I particularly love antichorus in songs. Born Pink is truly an amazing kpop album. Enjoy it! 1. Pretty Savage 2. Don't Know What To Do 3. Boombayah 4. D4 5. Pink Venom 6. Kill This Love 7. As If It's Your Last 8. Lovesick Girls 9. How You Like That 10. Whistle 11. Playing with Fire 12. Forever Young 13. Stay 14. Kick It 15. Crazy over You 16. Love to Hate Me 17. Hope Not 18. Kiss & Make Up 19. Ice Cream 20. Ready For Love 21. I was about to say...just wanted to see your take on it. Can't wait.😁
This dance just won them BEST CHOREOGRAPHY from VMA this year.
And they also won GROUP OF THE YEAR.
The anti chorus will grow on you. It grows on pretty much everyone 😂
K-Ross reaction is 시청자도 행복해진다
The stringed instrument is a traditional Korean Geomungo, and yes, it is Jisoo playing it - she learned to play it for this video.

The instrument that Jisoo was playing is called a geomungo, a six-stringed zither plucked with a bamboo stick.
