Ted (Sam Lloyd) was a good, and truly musical dood. RIP. Him and Kate Micucci made the most odd, but also perfect-sense, of couples on the show for a bit, if you knew their actual backgrounds. 🤷♂️ Long and the short of this piss-poor, dumb essay is....I hope they don't mess this reboot up! 🤔😷🤒 🎶

The Brain Trust still meets every week online to discuss goings on, with Doug Murphy auditioning for the 884th week in a row (that’s 17 years since season 8). Mayhaps the good doctor will be available for the occasional consult and disinfecting. Maybe even the handling of a persistent stain on the wall.
Coincidentally I'm on season 8 of a long overdue rewatch. Man, these people have been in my life longer than most of the people I actually know. I can't wait!

I have always had a special place in my heart for Dr. Cox and his tough love approach. Seeing him tell the new interns they have 900 strikes is classic, but underneath that gruff exterior, he has always been the mentor who cares the most. He represents that generation of teachers who pushed us to be our best even when we didn't think we could. It is his hidden heart that always made the show feel so real and grounded for me.
I love that Ted Lasso was sold as 'from the producer of Scrubs" and now Scrubs is being sold as "from the producer of Ted Lasso"
