I am a firm believer of paying cash only no borrowing. Live way below your means will enable you to save ... I was raised with " save for what you want and pay for what you have ". Usury was once illegal and it should be again . If you stopped renting and paying these prices the prices will COME down they have to . Landlords do not want to have empty properties ,,, insurance companies do not like insuring empty buildings . Same with the grocery stores and restaurants keep paying those prices and the prices will never go down .. stop buying and the will nay they must come down ..perishable items needs to sell by a certain time or they get tossed and it is total loss. I worked for a multimillion dollar company and there was a business rule " your first loss is your best loss" the longer you wait the less you will make in profit.
