I have a moderated mediated model. Can you guide me? Should I use the same method to run the NCA? That is, should I convert all moderating and mediating into IVs and link them like simple regression to DV? OR take interactive effects beta values and regress them on dv and also run muli/ TWO NCAs for DV and MED?
Nice lecture, prof. I want to run NCA for the moderated mediated model. Would you like me to follow the same steps? By converting moderators and mediators as IVs? Or should I run separate NCAs for IV-DV, IV to Med, Med to Dv and nothing for Mod? Can you recommend a sample study to follow the presentation for a moderated mediated model along with NCA?
Hi Professor. In my bootstrapping analysis, one independent variable has no significant influence on the dependent variable (p-value > 0.05). However, in the following NCA results, that particular independent variable has a higher ceiling line effect size compared to other independent variables. The NCA Permutation shows all independent variables have permutation p-value < 0.05. Which conclusion can I come up here? Please respond to me as I have been asking for help on this matter. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for the informative video. Do you know if there is a way to get the unstandardized latent variables scores if using SEMinR package for a PLS-SEM model? I only could obtain the standardized scores, and I am not clear how the standardized score would impact NCA’s interpretation. Thanks in advance.
Dear Prof, My conceptual model has higher order DV with 3 low order constructs? Can I use all the three lower order DVs to analyze NCA at ones or shall I use only the higher order DV? This is a reflective-reflective model.
Thanks for sharing, Dr. I want to know when there are moderators(like satisfaction) besides independent variables, when running NCA, whether the moderators will be in the model or not?
Thank you. the video is outstanding. I have a query regarding chart. The article you referred is showing the chart with yellow and green color lines. I checked the properties in SmartPls 4 but there is not option to enable that. also in your video it is not visible.
@@researchwithfawad Chart is visible, but only the one generated through SmartPls. But the sample article you have mentioned, they have difference NCA plots. I was wondering how i can show the similar one. Thank You
good morning sir, could you make another video in the same topic (combined use of PLS-SEM and NCA) but this time includes "negative constructs". You may have two positive constructs (e.g., rewards, responsiveness) and two negative constructs (e.g., stress, burnout). These four IVs have direct effect (positively and negatively respectively) towards organizational performance (OP). So far, no one has uploaded this kind of tutorial based on the scenario as mentioned above. thank you.
@@researchwithfawad Sir, I have a similar kind of model, where the predictor is a negative construct and reverse-coded, but the outcome is a positive construct. The relationship in the PLS-SEM is significant and negatively correlated, but in NCA, it's not. How can I interpret this?
@@researchwithfawad let suppose i am using 1 variable and this variable has 4 items. First we will calculate mean of the variable items and then we will calibrate with tbis values 0.95,050,0.05?
There is no Loyalty construct in the proposed model. There are 7 Independent Variables (i.e., vision, development, reward, reliability, assurance, empathy & responsiveness) and an outcome variable (i.e., Organizational Performance, OP).
Outstanding presentation!!
Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
Brilliant session, as usual. I learned and earned new knowledge. Thank you so much, Prof. for your Inexhaustible giving.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you very much Dr., a clear explanation and a contribution to the enthusiasts.
Thanks for watching.
thanks a lot Dr.. very clear
You are welcome
Thank you so much..I did learn a lot from this video as your explanation is easy to understand ..
Glad it was helpful!

AoA. Please use all IVs, MEDV, and MODV as predictors in regression.
@@IrfanSaleem541 Sir.. Do you get the solution of your query? I am in the need of the same solution.

Thanks for watching. I havent come across such a paper yet. But you will need to have the variables analysed as predictors using regression.

Please refer to the table in the video on the comparison of results from SEM and NCA.

Can you post this query in SEMinR FB page.

Hello Fawad, please can i get the powerpoint presentation that you used in this video ?
You may please refer to the paper in the description. I plan to upload the slides soon
Dear Prof, My conceptual model has higher order DV with 3 low order constructs? Can I use all the three lower order DVs to analyze NCA at ones or shall I use only the higher order DV?
This is a reflective-reflective model.
It is based on the study objectives.
Can you please make another video on applyng NCA fir complex model (including moderation)
NCA doesn't have moderation. The moderator is added as a predictor.
Thanks for sharing, Dr. I want to know when there are moderators(like satisfaction) besides independent variables, when running NCA, whether the moderators will be in the model or not?
Yes you can include the moderators.
Thank you, professor😀@@researchwithfawad
Sir, can we run NCA through SmartPLS 3? BTW that was nice presentation, thank you for clarifying my understanding.
Yes you can using SmartPLS4. Thanks for watching.
Dear Professor, when running NCA, the results show that the effect size is 0.087 and the P value is 0.709, is it a necessary condition?
Thanks for watching. No, it is not a necessary condition.
Thank you, Prof. Got this.😊@@researchwithfawad
Thank you for the session Sir. Can I use NCA for Higher-order constructs?
Yes.
@researchwithfawad thank you sir

Greetings of the day sir
How can we come to know whether nca is needed in our objective?
You can conduct in all social sciences studies where you are assessing an outcome based on multiple predictors.
@@researchwithfawad ok thank you sir
How is Necessary Condition Analysis (NCA) using AMOS programme?
AMOS doesn't support NCA
Could you make a video on fsQCA software. If we have 5 point likert scale then how we calibrate it.
Please if you have time then write here
You can calibrate based on the percentile score. 5, 50, and 95

Yes, that is one typo, it was also mentioned in the video. DV is OP.
