- GTA V but it takes place in the 80s. All traffic was replaced with vehicles from the 1980's era Los Angeles while also keeping it lore friendly (no real-life car manufacturers). There are also a lot of references to the 80s pop culture.

Love the vhs effect. I think it would be cool if someone made a graphics mod that gave the game that distorted, staticy look.

NVIDIA's freestyle filers are pretty lackluster at first glance. I know that overlays are possible with Reshade, I think just like a film grain overlay would accomplish what I'm after.
Saints row 4 did something like that and It was disgusting

been there done that, if they did that i would just be vice city remastered. vc remastered would be cool but no if it HAS to be vice city atleast make it modern. otherwise you couldnt call it gta 6 if it retold the same story from almost 20 years ago when that game came out

I’d like to see one where you play as one character through different time periods. You start off looking young and get older, cars and the city changes around you from 1988 to 2018 or something.
At first I was like "where's the Deluxo?" then I remembered that Doomsday Heist didn't come out yet.
Love this video, but I think Lamborghini Diablo (Infernus Classic) came out on early 90s. So in my opinion Lamborghini Countach would match better for 1987

1998 Toyota Supra 6MT TT so as the iaa Tower that wasn’t finshed until 1992

Video takes place in 1987 but that moment was when cj's mom was killed. It happened in 1992
If anyone has a problem with F.I.B. Rancher, Sheriff Rancher or Sheriff Esperanto (no interior textures) here's steps to fix it:
- export textures from bob_brown_interior and monroe_interior located in x64e/vehicles.rpf
- add bob_brown textures into F.I.B. Rancher and Sheriff Rancher texture dictionary
- add monroe_interior textures into Sheriff Esperanto texture dictionary
After saving you should have interior textures placed correctly.
Keep in mind speedometer will still be buggy.

can u help me i dont know how to activate 1970 traffic mod that is used in this video i installed it like it says but when i start the game traffic is normal it isnt only 1970 cars.sorry for my bad english

Reminds me of Vice City. The good ol times of doing nothing but exploring places you didn't get unlock by hopping over fences which took forever to get over and making risky jumps to get on boats since the game didn't have a swimming mechanic. And the cars...that was the best part.

Over the past 5 years a multitude of cars have been added to GTAO, and developers have made a multitude more of lore-friendly cars. I'd love to see this mod redone for today.
By the way, the reason your lightbars are buggered are either because you do not have the sirensetting plugin, or something is up with the carcols.
You might want to check out GTA V: 1986, sure it’s also old but I’m definitely more proud of that one, though this one is the beginning of my adventure with GTA V which means I’m also looking at it fondly, even if it got a little bit rusty. The problems with light bars was just my inexperience with the GTA V’s DLC system back then.

Honestly, the whole 80's synthwave type aesthetic should be left off with Miami/Vice City which is pretty much where most of it was centered. A "retro" Los Santos would be far better suited to the 90's era. I know San Andreas already did this, but it was when Los Angeles was at it's most wild. Just throwing it out there.
