It's just amazing Future Breed Machine came out nearly 30 years ago and it would still crush almost everything today. One of the heaviest and most distinctive metal tracks of all time for sure.

This was one of the craziest concerts I've been to. My neck still hurts. I was fighting for my life against buff half naked vikings in the mosh pit. Worth it.

The whole setlist was amazing and didn't play Bleed which is refreshing... The Violent Sleep Of Reason title track should be included regularly as I think it is one of their best songs. Cannot wait for them to play Phantoms and The Armies Of The Preposterous!

Dude… Fred’s solo. Sooo good. Also, this is noticeably slower than usual. But I like it.
To me it seems faster than some other live recordings though. Would be funny to see who of them decides what speed to play at.
@@RubenKemp usually it's the drummer as he does most of the heavy (pardon the pun) lifting in terms of physical effort. coming from a drummer lol
They don’t play FBM @ album tempo. Something I might request them to do via a sign I might hold up when they come to Texas in the fall lol
@@quadruplchin if it's the last song they're playing, like it was here, you either might have a good chance OR they're too tired :) certainly if they also play Bleed, like they sadly not played here :(
@@quadruplchin they play to a click track with in ear and it's also synced to the lightshow guy so i doubt they will or even can just change the tempo on the fly

8:30 Before they retire Meshuggah need to release at least one more live album, mainly because Future Breed Machine sounds heavier than the original here. The Ophidian Trek took similar approach but did not have that song.
