This is probably the funniest episode yet I really needed cheering up and that definitely happened after I watched your video. Your channel is so good and well done for everything your doing. Thank you for your hard work, dedication and being so "real" and not painting over the hard times and including what happens in the real world .
Hi Pete, we build and race circuit historic cars, everything from Mustangs, Lotus Cortinas, Minis, Midgets etc. and I am fascinated by the technology that goes into modern unlimited national bangers, and follow all the main races. As an engineer, I believe it is all about transmitting the power to the track with minimum of wheelspin and getting the car to turn in tight and hold that line with minimal understeer and oversteer, at the moment I believe the best all rounder is the frog eye Ford, and I really cannot believe drivers can still find these cars, they were never exactly popular when new! I watch a lot of in car footage also and the only car I think that would challenge the Ford is a BMW, I am not suggesting this is what you do as you like your Jags, and people say the BMW is not strong enough, I am sure it could be with a little development, watching the BMWs from Hednesford old school meeting the other day they were in a different league, and seeing how Ryan Sparks gets out of and through the corners with his car is the way to go. Maybe the BMW would not be suitable for say Jonesey who wants to hit everything, but drivers like Mushy and your mate Rob who are out there to race I am just surprised more people have not given them a go. Look what happened in lightning rods when they worked it out. Thank you for your time reading this. Darryl
@@motobuildracing thanks for the message Darryl, frog eyes are most definitely the best all rounder, and much better to set up, but the price for shells on them these days are absolutely insane! Suspension wise I think you are right BMW may be the way, although I believe a lot of the suspension is aluminium. Another reason why they haven’t caught on.
Brilliant stuff yet again Pete. For what its worth i was the same when i lost my dad a few years ago to cancer. There is no set way to deal with it as everyones different, you just have to somehow work out whats best for you.

Just wanted to say Pete love watching the vlogs have done from day one it was so nice to find a local banger driver who really cares and is funny as well.The banger scene died locally for me when Arena Essex closed i built my sons first ministox that he raced over there after seeing your vlogs i must try and get down to eastbourne or aldershot and relive some memories which would you say is the better one to go to ? You are not far from me im only in Medway anyway keep up the good work and totally agree it is good to talk instead of staying quiet there are always people who will listen stay safe and well 👍👍👍👍

Well i think as far as the mile stone question goes i think theres only 1 mile stone in a mile 😂 hazarding a guess with that one otherwise every birthday inbetween 0-10 10-20 20-30 and so on would be a milestone
@@kaylee-h2z part of the stripping process. We change peddles, column, servo etc in unlimited bangers. Wouldn’t be possible with the dash in, not to forget the fact it’ll break both legs if the car folds up big time!
