Tip guys, another scam I'm seeing is people going around impersonating larger organisations and live streaming their content/videos. They then put a somewhat convincing overlay over the livestream they're hosting that tells you to go to their website, which looks like it belongs to said larger organisation they're impersonating and ask you to send them crypto; and as a reward for participating/sending them crypto, they'll send you double back to you instantly. Pretty easy if you do your research to figure out it's a scam, but just letting ppl know here since I'm seeing quite a few on youtube right now.

So valuable warnings, i got scammed by giving permission to spend xx token (wallet drain) while i was withdrawing from the website, my money came to my wallet but it was drained a minute later..sigh learnt it the hard way. The crypto community needs to come together in other to battle scams.
Tip guys, another scam I'm seeing is people going around impersonating larger organisations and live streaming their content/videos. They then put a somewhat convincing overlay over the livestream they're hosting that tells you to go to their website, which looks like it belongs to said larger organisation they're impersonating and ask you to send them crypto; and as a reward for participating/sending them crypto, they'll send you double back to you instantly. Pretty easy if you do your research to figure out it's a scam, but just letting ppl know here since I'm seeing quite a few on youtube right now.
Pretty much as a rule, avoid links. Or in the case of YT comment sections, avoid people trying to present themselves as whiteboardcrypto. Haha
Regarding the fake domain scams, I always check website information tab so I can see if it’s secure and who verified with certification. Is this method effective enough while following other procedures like only going to official pages like Twitter?

So valuable warnings, i got scammed by giving permission to spend xx token (wallet drain) while i was withdrawing from the website, my money came to my wallet but it was drained a minute later..sigh learnt it the hard way. Now i check carefully the permission i am agreeing to…thank you for this video
