Have you heard of Ookami shounen wa kyou mo uso wo kasaneru? It’s a really good romance manga that I never hear anyone talk about. I highly recommend you check it out it’s one of my favorites.

I think i read this weekly till chapter like 18 or 19 or something but then I just kind of dropped it afterwards, I don't even know why, but I think I'm going to pick it back up again.
I haven't watched this channel too much but as a fellow good romance enthusiast one of my favorites is "Blue Flag" (Ao no Furaggu), it was on jump+ but focuses on romance and the development of the characters as they mature and find out their identities through this heart warming, tear jerking story. The only complaint I have of this manga was that the ending could have a whole another series dedicated to it that I would gladly binge.
A more drama filled story with a sense of mystery emerging as the story progresses is "Kowloon Generic Romance." The main characters are adults who work in the vibrant and almost alive Kowloon city (a city that existed in the real world). The story plays with identity, memories, and individuality through its cast of characters. Each character is engaging and intriguing as readers find out more about them.
Another romance manga that doesn't have too many chapters as of now is "Reemployment Life With An Unsociable Untalkative Magician" (Einen Koyou wa Kanou deshou ka). While I love tropey "generic" manga sometimes you need a refresher and this one is the cure focusing on two adults who are both mature and very kind as they cohabitate as housekeeper and magician.
One manwha that focuses on two gay male leads, which can be a turn off for some people, is "Lost in the Cloud" (클라우드). As a warning, the story contains triggering content such as attempted suicide, bullying, and child abuse. The story is definitely has a more modern feel to it. Both main characters grapple with their messed pasts and situations as they learn to trust and care for one another. Their at first sour relationship grows into something comforting and loving that I can't help but root for despite the more messed parts of the story and their personalities.
Definitely a great manga!! Just waiting for new chapters to be released 😢
not really a romance manga but could you try reading Toshokan No Daimajutsushi/Magus of the Library? Its a really cool underrated fantasy manga that focuses on the significance of books and their impact on the world. I can't really go further into detail without spoiling, but just know that it also has godly art and is a part of my personal top 3 favorite fantasy mangas (not in any particular order) next to Sousou no Frieren and Dungeon Meshi
So am I the crazy 1? Like the manga start with this guy having nightmares about his ex gf from highschool and he is already at university so pretty decent trauma, he sees her once and FREAKS out, calling her names and stuff in his head, also he says that he gave up on love until he found this new girl.. They swap bodies and there's not even one moment of him being actually mad at her or not trusting her or looking hard on even trying to stop this, they are just chilling together having even cute moments. Like they are the bests of friends, he agrees to the beauty thing for her and sees how smart she is how many people look up to her and stuff... cool, but still he should be really mad at her distrusting her idk, for me the author gave us a premise of this girl who really hurt him emotionally and then forgot about it and made a bodyswap slice of life romance and thats it. They hang out completly normal the whole time not even a backhanded comment..
If I'm wrong let me know maybe I just missed some stuff (also I havent watch this video yet, Im watching it while I write this)

The beginning kind of threw me off but it’s actually really interesting, other romance manga I recommend are Blooming love and Blue box if you haven’t read them, Marriage toxin too but that has action implemented

I read it from when it began and it is pretty good and still am reading it. It is a good manga and has lots of misunderstanding on misunderstanding. Also I am rooting for natsumi with sunao as natsumi has fallen for sunao now as well.

Hey kito senpai, can you read Hokuou Kizoku to Moukinzuma no Yukiguni? Its a good romance story too but its more slice of life and its only have 100 chapter, the story is really end in 100 chapter. The story is just soo wholesome like really sweat story and its not have that much of a drama but thats why is soo good read from chapter 1 to finish.

Fragrant flower, hope you’re happy lemon and blue box are all amazing reads for romance as well as horimiya.
Also 2.5 seduction is also pretty good even though it’s harem it’s not to the point where you can’t read it anymore and it’s also about cosplay.

Doubt you'll ever see this comment lol, but I love this manga and have a few reccomendations ig.
A similar bodyswap romance story should be "My Borrowed Body." It's a manhwa and imo its age really shows, but it does subvert reader assumptions a few times pretty well.
You should really read "Shishunki Bitter Change" though. It looks like you love character development, and this manga is all about that character development. Truly manga that is like no other, and I think it would make a banger video. The art and details are mid, but the concept is unrivaled.
Lastly, I have another manhwa rec which is "After Midnight." Imo kinda messed up relationships here and there, but the storylines are pretty deep.

I did really enjoy gamers because misunderstandings that actually get talked out was fun and i respect your recommendations but i semi hate and have never enjoyed a body swap story of any kind ever. Is this different enough and good to recommend anyways, also is her still liking him just bs or is the plot/lore actually good and characters not too infuriating?

A lot of people gave up on the manga the first few chapters, which was understandable. But overtime the story does get better and a lot more interesting. Sure there's still some improvements to be made, but its actually fun so far

Same. For me it started around the time jjk s2 came out. I still watched it and some other animes, but lately i cant watch anime even if i want to. It makes me sad since there are some animes that i really want to watch, but i cant bring myself to do it.
