Hahahahaha I LOVE this idea I know many people don't like the noises, but I LOVE new ideas!!!!!! and I was giggling the whole time🤣🤣🤣❤made my day HONESTLY!
@@anzmohammednv2952 I think its safe to avoid doing it often. Do it only if you see that your screen really needs it, so I would suggest once every 3 months maybe?
This isn't a cleaning, it's a REMOVAL of a sprayed-on coating layer that Apple applies at the factory. This is something you do just once - once it's removed, it's gone. Afterwards, your screen will be reflective, which not everyone likes, but it will look good.
I used a shower cleaning product with formic acid at 0.6% appling it with scottex, and finally clean with a glass detergent with microfiber. Much faster than listerine.
i think applying a screen protector after this process would be a good idea. btw i sometimes use really little amounts of isopropyl alcohol to clean my mac's screen. after i see how this coating can easily be removed off, i will quit this habit and use only dry cloth
Hi, I am having this problem to my macbook pro 2017. There are only a part of it on the top of the screen close to the camera. I have using listerin and applied on the affected area. Now I can see it become less shiny and backgound is not as black as the rest of the screen - I guessed I've remove the area of the coating where I rub the listerin? I can see the area where I use listerin is slightly different (not as dark the backgroud but it looks smooth) from the non-affected area where I have not applied yet (still black background) My question is, did I just removed some of the antiglare? Do I need to rub all the rest of the screen surface to make it all coating gone? I not sure if I will make this worse? so I have not rub the whole screen with listerin yet - just the affected area so far. I don't mind I don't have that anitglare but just to make sure before I rub the whole screen with Listerin. Hope u can give me your advice. Thank You
It's not clear to me that removing all the anti-glare coating that comes with the laptop is a good idea. Don't you at least want to add an anti-glare screen protector to the laptop afterwards?
That might be the case because the screen protector would prevent the oils and residue, that usually break the coating down, to get on to the screen in the first place.
I’ve searched a lot of videos already and they do the same thing. They don’t really remove it. They’re just cleaning it. Mine has the corner kinda peeled off. But I’m scared to removed it. That’s why in trying to search for a video. If it’s safe.
We don't remove it by peeling it off, like you'd think we do. It is actually removed by using the Listerine, as patiently rubbing it will dissolve it eventually and safely :)
@@henriqueacabral There is no "screen", it's a coat of lacquer. The "stains" and "wear" are the lacquer scraping away. The solution is to scrape the rest of it off.
Hi,I guarantee for you by applying all of these methods, you’re destroying your screen quality and it will look awful like OLD LCD SCREENS, as Apple in purpose they added this Anti-Glaue Coating for the Retina displays for better quality viewing angles And for the comfort of your eyes. Bye
Brave choice to go with the noises and then beg for subs and shares. I struggled to make it to the end and if this is an indicator of your video production I think I'm actively going to block your channel.
I don't get why you added those dirty noises...
We thought they were funny and had a good laugh recording and listening to them, but the new videos are without them :)
Bruhhh 🤣🤣🤣🫡❤️
@@techcare7849 it was not funny until you said it
It is dingafunny!
Thumbs down just for that and didn’t finish watching the video.
Are you ok?
worked great for me, loose the noises
You should use isopropyl alcohol with at least 70 percent and a microfiber cloth works the best

nice tip, but whats with the farmyard noises? would watch more but stop the disgusting noises ;-)
It really worked with my MacBook Pro M2! So easy and effective.
but the m2 MacBooks don't have such issues !!
@@Iamtechboy I have the same problem on a Macbook Pro M3 😭
I laughed pretty hard the first time you made that noise 😂 I thought it was hilarious haha
The noises were annoying and made the video hard to watch
it makes it funny😭
How often should we do it?
Should we do it every day? Or once in every week? Monthly once? How often should we clean?
@@anzmohammednv2952 I think its safe to avoid doing it often. Do it only if you see that your screen really needs it, so I would suggest once every 3 months maybe?
It's a one-time work, once done the antiglare coating is removed forever.

why these ugly noises?
Belch!!! Ooh sorry. 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Bruv, I don't think you are supposed to swallow the Listerine
When you’re in prison you drink what you can get to get drunk. 🤷🏻♂️
Can we use this same process in asus laptop screen?

same

My macbook pro 2019, not working 😢😢😢
Can we use microfibre napkin instead
did you use some screen protector?
I’m doing this and then putting a screen protector on
FYI Clorox wipes work as well.
Some parts don‘t come off, any ideas for the parts where the anti glare hold strong on the glas?
Used chemical guys water spot removal, so much easier.
I had a similar problem. What worked for me was mixing the Listerine with a window cleaner. It sped up the removal process.
Thanks for this video 👌

LMAO i love the noises
i love the "extremely efficient", but takes 3 hrs. And the gross snotty, drinkie, and belchy sounds. Terrible quality production. Thumbs down.
Sir mac m2 air
It worked. I am still trying to figure out if this was Charlotte's web or a guide video
Just use paint thinner or nail polish remover
lysol toilet bowl works in about 15minutes or less lol
Endlich!!! Hab schon immer nach einer Lösung dafür gesucht! Danke.
Freut uns, dass wir Dir helfen konnten lieber Felix! Hoffentlich ist dein MacBook Pro wieder wie neu! :)
Would a screen protector help to prevent this?
it might as nothing scratches the protective lamination
That might be the case because the screen protector would prevent the oils and residue, that usually break the coating down, to get on to the screen in the first place.
0:03 nice grunt ;)
why do u have to hawk , drink water and burp 🙄 but thaks for the info
you are not fixing the issue, you are making the screen more reflective
Still looks better than having the film scratched up and looking like garbage
where in this video do you actually remove the screen protector?

took every day a tooth paste on the Display, this is very shiny.
@jacsigg11 Clorox wipes for sure! I'm only like 3 minutes in and it's mostly gone.
