    I started studying from him in 9th class now I am a 3rd year student at iit kgp . I dont know how this video got recommended but this just makes me happy at the same time very sad also that he is not with us. He will forever be in my heart. He is the only teacher that made me fall in love with this subject. He taught it so beautifully, there will never be anyone like him. Thanks youtube for recommending this video.

    Sir, I have a doubt at 41:00. You said earlier that speeds are exchanged when masses are same. But mass of a neutron and a deuteron are different. So how did their velocities exchange?
    One more question sir, what does that bar over the neutron symbol at 1:07:14 mean and where did it came from? Changing of a neutron to proton will increase the protons by one and it will decrease the neutrons by one. So how did that extra neutron came?

    Ok ..I have a doubt here.... In the fast breeder reaction, it is said that Np is changed into Pu by removal of electron and alpha particle but that could only occur by the process of breaking the one neutron into one proton and one electron. But in this we saw that mass number remained same while one proton and electron were created. Wouldn't we have lost one neutron in order to create one proton and electron in that reaction? We should be lacking one neutron in the mass number of Pu, shouldn't we?

    • @grishalvijay2114
      @grishalvijay2114 8 лет назад +1

      Navdeep Singh Nuclear explosion is an instant process of 10 to the power -8 second
      It releases enormous energy when it explodes. So precautions are taken during process in reactors.
