Downsizing The First Gen Tacoma Body Lift! REMOVING 3 INCH BODY LIFT KIT!

Today I remove the 3 inch body lift off the 1998 Toyota Tacoma. I am replacing it with a 1 inch body lift to gain some clearance for new leaf springs and shocks. Let me know what you think and please enjoy!

I think most people that do big lifts on trucks end up regretting part of it at some point. I see a lot of trucks and Jeeps for sale that say they have been recently lifted.

The last owner put the 3 inch body lift on, so I’m not too sure. Most of the hard lines were bent slightly, but bent back into place when I removed the body lift.

Question on that 3 in body lift, did it have an extended fuel filler neck tubing? Thanks.

Yes it did, the last owner had used some soft fuel line to extend the filler neck a few inches

All for lifted trucks if done correctly body lifts are so pointless and don’t look good I did a 3 inch lift on that same taco and love it
