Just want to let you know that their company JYPe, will almost never block you for a music video so long as 1) it's a Korean release, not a Japanese one, & 2) it's not within the first few days after release (and even then, they usually won't). They consider it free publicity. The stuff that's at decent risk of getting blocked is the live stages, as that's outside the label's purview and thus at the mercy of various broadcast/media companies who have different levels of strictness. - Curious about Ryan Reynolds & Hugh Jackson?? Ryan Reynolds has been a long-time fan of K-pop & friends with Stray Kids since 2021. At that time, he s reached out to Stray Kids via tweet after their Deadpool themed live performance in 2021 on Kingdom Legendary War show. Since then, they have been friends, especially with the leader, Bang Chan, even exchanging gifts and autographs and doing a interview together with him in Korea. And I think Hugh Jackman has a soft spot for his fellow 2 Aussies ( 2:51 Bang Chan and 5:17 Felix w/deep voice). In a recent interview for the Marvel Korea market for Deadpool x Wolverine that Hugh Jackman and Ryan R gave to Bang Chan & Felix, Ryan mentioned that Marvel didn't know that they were going to made a cameo for the Chk Chk Boom video. Stray Kids has a song [OST] on the soundtrack to Deadpool x Wolverine called "Slash" directly requested by Ryan Reynolds. Apparently Ryan had wanted them to have a part in the movie, but in the end it wasn't possible, due to scheduling issues. I think Ryan and Hugh being in the Chk Chk Boom video is the next best thing. 🖖🏽
Glad you liked it! Stray Kids is an 8 member, self-producing group from S.Korea (with 2 Australians in the mix). They just rocked Lollapalooza on Friday night, its still up on Hulu for streaming. It was amazing! Other songs to check out would be God's Menu, Megaverse, Lalalala, and Topline. They also just dropped a video for one of the b-sides called Mountains. They produce all their own stuff and they just broke a world record for having 5 straight BB200 #1 albums (in a row).
Its a real real deep rabbit hole. You have seen nothing yet. There are 3 subunits which are 3Racha (rap and production), Danceracha and then Vocalracha. Everyone can do everything tho. They do unit, solo projects or just team up with whoever they want as well. I found them a couple months ago and im still going through thier comtent. Thier fandom is called Stays and they are really nice. React to more Stray Kids and the Stays will come and give you information.
This is accurate. I have been summoned! lol I am glad that my fellow STAY have such a positive reputation. I hope your journey down the SKZ rabbit hole is just as exciting as I am sure D & J's will be.
