This is genius. It shows what vlogger and documentary makers portray when they reach India. Overanalyzing and over romanticising everything.
Cultured comedy. Absolute masterpiece. Can't believe it's only 20 years old.
My favourite show of all time. Needed in today's climate more than ever.
M Mon One of mine too.
Its 2019 n Indian students still wear da same kinda clothes n Outlook 😂😂
U have some tea ?? Knock knock... he’s selling crack!!! Love this sketch from way back
This sketch works on two levels: 1) mocking the Great Railways of the World romanticising India and so on. but 2) this really was how bad the 'Misery Line' (London - Southend) was in the 1990s.
Though it is now 2022, this sketch is as fresh and funny as the day it was first broadcast. The "thieves" still walk the corridors (at least Dick Turpin had the courtesy to wear a mask), and the leaves still prevent trains from running. But we now have snow, wind and rain to add to the leaves. The chap selling crack reminded me of a few weeks ago, when a lad asked a complete stranger in my carriage if he had any blow.
@sajmeister Hi, thanks for the support. It is the official channel. New material will be coming soon. Watch this space!
Thanks Kulvinder!
One of my favourite sketches from this great show.
One of the most superb pisstakes ever 😂
The real kulvinder ghir? Dude massive fan, you and Sanjeev are ridiculously funny!
Love how they say "mate" in an Australian accent! 😂
Mate is the marker of equality among males. British and NZ also use it.
Love this episode
They don't make them like this anymore
Well goodness gracious me.
@kulvinderghir Thanks so much, a big fan of yours! I know you had a small recurring role in the BBC comedy, Lunch Monkeys, but you were still great and one of the main reasons I watched it!
This is brilliant! Do you also have the original one "The Rough Guide To England"?
Beckton!! Haha. that ski slope no longer exists
Probably covered in overpriced little boxes!
Wonderful!!!
Michael Portilo, please stand aside, you have been replaced, and not a Bradhaws in sight!
Is this the official Kulvinder Ghir channel? Cool if it is cos I'm a big fan!!
Excellent

This is quite possibly the worst researched comedy sketch EVER!!! LT&S doesn't terminate at Southend - it was extended to Shoeburyness in the year 1884! Beckton and Becontree aren't even stations on it and it wasn't filmed on that line either; there has never been a buffet service on what was LT&S (now c2c); rolling stock and train livery is all wrong; views from the windows - wrong; tracks, lineside features - station buildings all not from that line etc etc... Apart from that - it was quite funny. :-P
It is a comedy sketch, not a documentary or historical drama. Who cares how accurate it is - it's funny!!!
I know that it's a comedy sketch - but they are portraying something, that really exists, as being very bad when they clearly don't really know anything about it.
Chill out
And the London-Tilbury line is overhead electrified too, whereas it clearly shows a line without any installed.
the fk is wrong with u, got ur knickers in a twist have ye
