Ugghhhhh....it's that Moon band again.....they could honestly put me to sleep. Hey, you know what a great way to get some sleep is....go to Bands of a America contest and fall asleep in your seat. I'm sure it would work. But congrats to NH for winning the Band of the Week.....and an absolute stellar, first-class performance by you guys as always. Keep up the good work, Indians.
I understand that you are a North Hills Marching Band supporter, but please don't disrespect the other bands for executing the performance which they were instructed to provide. I believe that while all of the band are Different from ours, we should celebrate all of them, because they showed up, performed and did their best to their ability.
Albert Whale Thanks for your reply and input. I certainly am not denying the quality of Moon's performance, it's just not my prefererred style of band to watch. Some people love watching contest bands, while others (like me) prefer a more audience-centric collegiate-style marching band like North Hills, North Allegheny, or Pine-Richland. What I do find interesting, though, is that I found another video on RUclips of the Moon band (I can guarantee that it is the same exact band as the one in this video and not another school named Moon) from a game a few weeks ago doing a Bon Jovi show at home (lots of bands do 2 seperate shows....1 for football, 1 for contests), so I find it interesting as to why they did their competition show instead of that one for this game.
City of Champs Sports Network they had a competition the next day and wanted to attempt a practice run due to adding new parts (closer) to get some of the students some more experience with the show due to learning it so fast.
Moon •Very visually appealing: in step, dancing is synchronized, flags are guided. •Music choice is too boring, not catchy at all, solos too long and too many, parts where only pit plays are too long. •Sound of band is good. Tone is pleasant. •No distinct theme to show, and I couldn't hear the lady announcer say it very well to compare the band execution of it.
