What? It's outrageous! It's unfair! The Precious has been chafing... Er, uh... The ring has become a great burden, mine alone to bear, and yet you deny me such a prestigious title?
In my youth i hated Boromir for treating Aragorn that way. Nowadays i understand his perspective more and more. His dad come from a long line of stuarts, who had to govern a state without a king for many generations, plus denethor probably boasted in front of him many times how good they are doing without a king. Then when darkness emerges, he gets send to the front line (black friday with swords everyday basically) gives his all, endures the suffering and earns the respect of the people. Then he finds out the guy who is supossed to be more suited to be head of the state has been chilling with the elves this whole time. Sure he lived as a ranger but try to compare the sneaky live in wilderland with the horrors of mordor living next to you.
'But my home, such as I have, is in the North. For here the heirs of Valandil have ever dwelt in long line unbroken from father unto son for many generations. Our days have darkened, and we have dwindled; but ever the Sword has passed to a new keeper. And this I will say to you, Boromir, ere I end. Lonely men are we, Rangers of the wild, hunters - but hunters ever of the servants of the Enemy; for they are found in many places, not in Mordor only. 'If Gondor, Boromir, has been a stalwart tower, we have played another part. Many evil things there are that your strong walls and bright swords do not stay. You know little of the lands beyond your bounds. Peace and freedom, do you say? The North would have known them little but for us. Fear would have destroyed them. But when dark things come from the houseless hills, or creep from sunless woods, they fly from us. What roads would any dare to tread, what safety would there be in quiet lands, or in the homes of simple men at night, if the Dunadain were asleep, or were all gone into the grave? 'And yet less thanks have we than you. Travellers scowl at us, and countrymen give us scornful names. "Strider" I am to one fat man who lives within a day's march of foes that would freeze his heart or lay his little town in ruin, if he were not guarded ceaselessly. Yet we would not have it otherwise. If simple folk are free from care and fear, simple they will be, and we must be secret to keep them so. That has been the task of my kindred, while the years have lengthened and the grass has grown.

Seriously, this is some gold content! Your impressions at the bar with the entire crowd in disbelief was a joy to see. The breathless Boromir remark hit me the best! Thank you for sharing your talents with us! Just don’t burn yourself out, you hear?
Figwit! Now that is a name I haven't heard in a couple decades. As the only fangirl who preferred Figwit to Legolas back in the day, I owe you my thanks for the nostalgia.
Every episode I'm amazed at how creative you areat telling this story. You're a talented person and I hope many good things come your way. My favourite part was the live bar reaction, turning that into a joke was pure gold!

Charlie, feel like if I subscribe to you for 1000 times I still won’t be able to do justice to your amazing content. Sorry just got carried away but going through some difficult time in my life at the moment and your videos are one of the only things that instantly cheers me up nowadays. Thank you
Missed opportunity @ 13:56 - could have had Gimli say "since they had claims against him for weapon theft, I thought I might as well get my axe replaced, too!"
Yay, new stuff! Are you done with that comedian “hobby?” You’re needed here on the Tube! Hehe Just playin’ young man, I would love to see you live some day. Keep it up! 🐶++
9:29 Half an hour at 180 degrees? You can't cook _meat_ like that, let alone a ring! You should've set it broil for at least twice that long. That'll soften it up! I can't believe we had two and a half movies worth of effort to throw the ring into a volcano just because these guys didn't know how to use an oven.
15:00 I want to point out that Sam takes on Shelob and a bunch of orcs and wins, Pippin saves gandalf by killing an orc (and I'm pretty sure killed a couple more) and Merry killled alot of orcs while defending aowyn

Oh, that was awesome. I saw what you did there. Mock the witticism of the famous meme. But then when the "best bit of acting" part that everyone comments on - how Gandalf shows he knows all as soon as Frodo volunteers with a simple expression - the serious part that isn't a meme - that's where the joke is. That was intentional, right? lol Either way, I loved it. You did skip _my_ favorite part of the council, though. When the other hobbits run in, Elrond gets this look like, "What? There's more of them?" He looks so confused and bewildered as if he thought Frodo was the only hobbit in Middle Earth. I laugh every time I see it.

This is where the nerds of the highest honor and the most knowledge meet to watch the only good new LOTR content left on the face of middle earth.
We meet people of culture again.
That lego intro was delightful, haha
I love how Boromir is always breathless and then he makes a joke about it, it’s like he’s in my head!
You are on this council but we do not simply grant you the role as Ring-bearer.

The perfect impression of Dumbledore caught me off guard!🤣
Racist Elrond is a great rolling bit.
But he does not discriminate at 15:39❤.
amazon should do a spin off. have him run for that republican party agaisnt Sauron. Saruman as his running mate and Boromir as the inept secretary.
"He was a bit of a klepto, that kid." 😅😂😂
Not surprising really, given that his uncle was a professional "burglar".

The opening Lego bit really got an honest laugh out of me. These videos deserve way more recognition.
One does not simply watch a Charlie Hopkinson video without commenting.
I like that Gimli is just Charlie in a wig and not a deepfake LOL
He's the best Gimli.
I lost it when Boromir called Aragorn "Bear Grylss" XD XD XD Gotta love his one liners!
Omg boromir's voice is so perfect. He's my favorite ❤

Got to love Elrond's continued racism. Lmao!! And yes Boromir, that lego set is the business!!
It's a layered joke cause all elves are nazi levels of racist lol
Honestly man these are just the funniest videos on RUclips to me. Thanks so much for the laughs 🍻
This gets better and better. I love the Star Wars stuff and this is growing on me so fast

The lego intro is so good!
Gandalf’s shock at his brother’s congrats text to Elrond had me rolling!
This honestly is some of the best content. It's very MST3K just with the characters from the movies haha
Naw, they are just hecklers and annoying ones. These guys are mates.
Anyway I can't stand Mystery Theater but I think this is great.

I agree abour that acting moment by Ian McKellen. Superb.
Spoiler Alert:Boromir suffered the same fate as most of Sean Bean's characters, he was killed off.

One of my favourite episodes of the best show on telly.
