Diaz went in there planning to finish Condit, and he could've gone wild and finished the fight in the later rounds (which might have even got him knocked out). But if Diaz is so concerned with putting on a show, that wouldn't have mattered to him. After thinking about it, I think Diaz is a better fighter technically, but Condit proved better by perfectly implementing a better, more boring strategy.
