hey Alexotos another great video. but by any chance, could you share what you did to your MX master mouse? it looks great!! Stickers or different covers?
It’s pretty much just a rework of the Odin V2 like almost exactly minus the obvious F-row keys not being present since the plates for the Odin have that exact weird offset between the numpad and alphas as well as the spacebar for the gasket sock placements
Any chance you'll be checking out a fuij65 anytime soon? Also, have become mildly addicted to your videos. Thanks for the good vibes and brilliant board builds.
I do see what you mean, esp since this is at the higher price point right. But, I do agree with @alexotos, the more options in the full size, 1800, (anything with a numpad) category is always nice. Its actually one of the reasons I choose to pickup the tet, because I like the layout and it has more color options compared some others (also I barely use the F row). Even tho there are other boards that may cost less, more variety and options is always a plus imo
I just feel like a $350 FRL 1800 is a tough sell, given where the hobby's at these days. Of the relatively few folks who want to main an 1800, how many want FRL? And they already have the CK Compact FRL 1800 option. Seems less practical than like an expensive showpiece? And if that's the case, shouldn't this bring something really novel to the table? Would be cool to see leaf springs or solenoids or something.
@@coykiko I don't mean to tear down the effort that went into this board-- on the contrary, I would love for designers to keep raising the bar and adding not just color and layout variety, but try to get the price down on those unusual layouts to help more people get into the space. Or to do something really fun and experimental for enthusiasts to enjoy.
@@hrolvnir Honestly I do hear you and I don't think you are tearing down the effort or anything. Just wanted to provide my two cents on why someone may want to pick this type of layout or this board specifically. However, I do think what you are saying is perfectly valid
100% agree philips drive is kinda super bad. F tier screw drive lol even on furniture I’ve built with bigger hardware I try to use torx even square drive is better
WOW, so gooooodd, that poppy spacebar tooooo
I’m really excited for the kbdfans taco :D hope you get to review that too!
We will soon!
Links broken, takes you to some type of chocolate site?
I can't replicate this for the life of me ! haha i replaced all the links with the kbdfans ones it must be a site error on their end.
Oh I really wanna get this. I love the frl 1800 layout.

Stickers or different covers?
God dammit, thats a nice sound. Also interesting layout. Bit wide, I don't know if I have a use for it.....BUT ONE DAY!!!!!

in via and qmk it’s registered as odinmini lol

Actually very soon for that board!
And thank you for loving the vids!
damn, what a great shout about it looking like a Nintendo switch, only a great person (definitely not me) could have made that lol 🤣😂
Do you see yourself getting the F1-8X v2 soon? It’s a super cool board and I’m thinking of picking one up when it comes out
Is the board in e-white or the anodized silver?
Does this keyboard use the screw in stabs or clip ins? i just purchased this board and purchased some TX AP screw in stabs. will that work?
yoooooo whats that purple/red set? ive got a silver board that i think will go nicely paired with
the one with glitter in it? it’s pbtfans vior
Love that companies are putting out 65+numpad layouts! Btw whats the first purple set called? Rly wanna get one for myself haha
I don't think it make that difference vs a 96 key one
This is a frl 1800 tho
Purple set is called GMK Purple night
what stab should I use with this tet... apparently I just knew that this kit comes without the stabs. I bought the hotswab 1.2 mm pcb
which did you end up going with i just got mine and forgot to order stabs :/
shiny love it ;D I went for purple odin75
Why is the link something else...
Link works for me?
I get directed to "tabs chocolate" not kbdfans, fwiw
what do you feel about the odin75?
keyboard is great but the fact they are selling the PCB for at least 100usd is just bs.
at that size, why give up the F row?
Wind x98, Brutal 1800..QK100 is $200 less
Some people really like that style of layout!
What if people don't like the way the other boards look? More options are good, never bad.
