I've been aware of Chris Rea's music since the mid eighties, but I never gave him any serious consideration, until this morning. I'll tell ya, I'm kicking myself for missing out on decades of his superb and sublime music. Must have listened to about 30 songs so far and every one is a sparkling diamond.

He is one of the world’s most under appreciated song writer, singer- love the gravel in his voice at times and wow can he wring a tune out of his many guitars. This is a fantastic tune and if you love this, get digging in his amazing back catalogue 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Melissa, I learned (and am still learning!) that "The wings of your greatest flight lie hidden in your heart", but we buried them deep to protect them from the pain of numerous lives here on Earth. Many of us flew in the sky once before, a long long time ago, and now we're going to do it again. It's time. A lot of the children are more ready than the grown-ups ... but we can do it too.

Is Chris one of the Greatest or what? his voice is like a whisper that soars, and He just knows how to put together a melody even the most simplest melody, and make something awesome out of it. The harmonies, the vocals, the screaming soothing jazz guitar... Man, this is good stuff.

I seldom ever listen to the traditional mainstream radio favorites, but there's always a Chris Rea cd in my home or ride and ready to go with my mood.
