Hi. My family bought a House a couple years ago. Always Lived in NJ and SI all my Life. I just got a letter from the Twnship saying my Shed needs to be on "the driveway" but I have 2 acres of property. Its a Big Shed, but, it is NOT over 15ft Tall and its more than 5ft from the Prop.Line.
Well I'm confused because "they" said the shed can be in my Driveway but Not on My Grass. They stated I need a Permit for the Grass but Not the Driveway. That does Not Make Sense
Can you explain more about Self Sufficiency Test ? I’m looking to buy 2, 3 or 4 Family with FHA, Conditional Underwriting in NJ. I used a Conditional Loan 5% for my first home in NJ, am I in the right direction ? Thanks
1. You can only have one FHA loan at a time. 2. You can go from a 4 to a 3 to a 2, but FHA won’t believe your going from a single to a 4 or a 2 to a 4.
@@JosephAzizRealEstate so this is my situation. Conditional Loan on my current single Family. And I’m looking to do FHA with a Conditional Underwriting Approval on a Triplex or Four-Plex. Why couldn’t I get a 4-Plex ? 800 credit score and really good Income.?
@Joseph Aziz Real Estate ok I am looking into purchasing this year considering the market is finally slowing down some. I know I will be taking a hit with the interest rates but I see it as, you can refinance a mortgage rate but you cannot refinance the price of a home
It's a shame that because of the mismanaged funds and over-spending by NJ Bureaucrats, a lot of prospective home buyers cannot afford to live in the state. The Education System is very costly & inefficient. The entire State has too many unecessary departments. I've seen State vehicles in NJ mark with Departments I've never heard of? Doing business with and IN the State of NJ is always complicated & requires more paper work, as least compared with Pennsylvania. The NJ Government probably uses the excuse that the population is so dense, that they HAVE to have excessive taxation? That is not a valid excuse, because obviously that translates into MORE taxpayer base. There are some beautiful areas & towns in NJ. My personal favorite town is Collingwood in Camden County. My favorite County is Hunterdon, as it reminds me of where I grew up in Rural Maryland in the Eastern Shore. As a direct result of 'greed' within the State Administration, a lot of working class people, like myself, are precluded from even thinking of buying a home i NJ. When I drive through NJ, I always look around in awe & wonder just "how" people can afford to live here? I even have family that lives there, but need three incomes, just to keep their head above water. As far as I know, the ONLY thing cheaper in NJ, as compared to other States, is fuel. .go figure?
Thanks for the awareness, I'll be coming from the UK and these are quite precious info 😮
Welcome!

Hire a local zoning attorney, or go to town building department with a survey.

it's NOT a Fixed Structure. It's a Shed and its Portable.
I understand Most People would Comply but I'm Not Most People. We have Laws for a Reason and I'm in No VIOLATION of any! I'm sure you can understand
So true.. as a buyer I look at crappy houses and say nexttttt
