    Hello everyone!
It has been a long time since my last post. While there is still a huge backlog of videos to be edited I wanted to finish this one.
End of 2023 was tough. I lost my uncle who had a very special place in my life. It hit me pretty hard. And just a little after that, I lost my first and possibly only mentor in life. I still can't stop thinking about him every day. I got impacted by the silicon valley layoffs in December. And while these were happening I also spent 3 months, night and day helping out my sister in law during her pregnancy. I witnessed the most wonderful miracle of life. Birth of a child. Learned more about pregnancy, labor, babies etc. than an average mom. Spent hours with the baby, learned how to calm him down etc. It was amazing.
My uncle always talked about a night where my parents left me to him. He talked about how incredible it was to hold me and listen to music while I was only a couple weeks old. The baby was born only a few weeks after he was gone. I couldn't stop thinking about my uncle and how he described that night he took care of me.
You could ask what all these have to do with the video. Let me get to that part. The only thing I could do to relax was going on short hikes. I couldn't share much with people around me since everyone's focus was the baby. I didn't want to get anyone depressed. As always, being in nature, alone, helped me.
I shot some clips here and there. I never know if I will make a video when shooting. These clips looked so raw and I felt like they are reflecting my feelings. So, I combined 2 hikes, some other clips from my recent nature walks and finished the video.
Dedicating it to My Uncle and mentor Mr.Aykan...
Hope you are all doing well.
See you in the next video.

Sit this is the most beautiful R6 footage I have ever seen. I have always wanted to to see the California Redwoods, now I feel like I have experienced it.

It really was the highlight of those days. I left the camera in wrong AF mode and it ruined most of that moment but thankfully I could spare 2-3 seconds of footage. Light was unreal 360 degrees for 5 mins

    Beautiful.
Don't know why that your video just came up in my mind in this stressful night after a fulfilled working day, and open up the RUclips to searching your page in purpose...
Watched this one, feel much better from the greenery and nature footages.
But read the text, so sorry for your loss, and feel the complex mood about the gone and new birth...
btw, my wife got pregnant a month ago, happy and a bit nervous, and stress...
anyway, thanks for your this gorgeous and natural video, like it

I love your slow, quiet style in your videos. And the use of wide lenses is really refreshing in a world where most stuff is shot longer than 50mm in films and tv.

Thanks a lot for the nice words. I think what I create is super related to how I feel on my trips. I try to stay true to myself when shooting. I end up using a wide angle in the end no matter how many lenses I try :)
