@romanmicagearguy Um, for the same reason you didn't call a Volvo an American car when Ford owned it. It is designed and built exclusively in Sweden. Besides, the 2011 S60 was designed in 2009, BEFORE Geely acquired Volvo from Ford, so there's no comparison to Nissans manufactured for France or even the BMW X3 which is designed for the U.S. The reason Geely bought Volvo is that Volvo is a very popular car in China, and Geely wants to manufacture Volvos in-country for Chinese domestic sales.
The s4 is not faster I raced one , the s60 t6 is actually a little faster and the R will probably eat it. So those who think the s4 is faster .. you’ll be pretty surprised at the light.

+Topgear759 the s4 is so much more expensive, particularly fully optioned and not nearly as safe as the s60.
